Description: Oasi La Pizza since 1984 it's a place of peace and good food in the charming Marina of Porto Maurizio. A convivial degustation of pizza and pasta made with excellent blends of flavours, prime and fresh products from the region. Wood oven, Olive wood and starter.

A definite pro is Oasi's location: very cosy piazza surrounded by houses in warm colours, a pergola, and couples, groups of friends or families with children on neighbouring tables - yes, it is loud, but that only adds some lively Italian authenticity to the whole experience.

We liked the concept: they show you pizza or pasta dishes and you chose the ones you want or reject them. I don't agree with previous reviews about the speed of service: even though almost every table was occupied, we had our bottles of water and white wine within 2 minutes! A nice, no-fuss restaurant with good quality food!

I was looking forward to coming here as I had heard it was good. Unfortunately we were met with disappointment. We received no menus so had no idea of the prices. We said we wanted pizza, something was said to us in Italian and the next moment there was a not so nice looking pizza on our table. We figured out too late how the restaurant actually works. Pizzas come from the kitchen and are offered at your table, you can then choose to keep it if you want or wait for the next one. After eating two quicl pizzas we left, feeling rather disappoined and cheated. We won't be back.

I visited with my family Oasi last sunday for dinner. As we are from north europen ourselves, we normally have dinner bit earlier than locals, and that was out benefit this time. As we arrived after a minor search to restaurant there were plenty of seats to pick, Matron came and gave us information how system goes, and asked if there is any preferences for the younger kids, and she she was told, they eat everything, the feast begun. We had 2 different pizzas and pastas , with highest quality, coming to table as one was finished, and the dessert Tiramisu just melted in our mouths. When you are travelling with family or just by yourself, this is THE restaurant to visit. Just make sure that you are early , or prepare to wait a bit , as locals have found it too.

Our last time at the Oasi was on a warm and busy Summer evening when both the restaurant and the outside covered area were packed with customers and the waiters brought round different pizzas and pastas for you to decide whether to have or not. Being used to menus it was a bit of a shock at first! This time was very different because it was early evening and the weather was quite cold. We had a warm welcome inside, then the chef brought round a very tasty home-made fruit drink with gin in recognition (I think) of the 2 euro cover charge. It was delicious. The waitress then came and offered us a choice of pizzas. We had two different ones, and they were superbly tasty, packed with toppings. We then moved on to a pasta course, which was tagliatelli with truffles, and it was just right. We had red and white wine and two delicious sweets (tiramasu of course and an affogato), and the total bill was 70 euros. That was good value for a very pleasant and friendly experience. When we left they were already full and turning people away: I'm not surprised!

my family and i visit this restaurant every night of our holiday in Imperia. Worth waiting for as you do need to queue for a table (no bookings taken). No menu choice, just pizza and pasta made fresh at the discretion of the chefs. A simple concept. Amazing food and house wine. Can't wait to return. Friendly staff. Continued success.
