“Nice hotel close to downtown”
Reviewed 6 February 2014 via mobile

This is a nice hotel near downtown that is within walking distance of a lot of nice restaurants. Decent wifi and the rooms are generous by European standards. Ladies should bring their own shampoo and facecloth though, which is typical for Europe. Breakfast is great with a full continental spread of fruit, meats and cheese to go with the more typical sweet pastries you tend to see in Italy.

We stayed here for close to three weeks and we enjoyed most of it. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the bathrooms are spacy with a shower, no tub. The thing we didnt like at all was the bed, it was just to hard to have a real comfortable sleep. The breakfast is terrific, from sweets to cold cuts, anything you would like. Even the different coffees coming out of the machine tasted fantastic. You definitely have to visit the pool with a waterfall, sort of like an underwater spring and a skylight right at the top - FANTASTIC!

I have spent one night in this hotel, really in the centre of Latina.
Clean, nice, comfortable in every aspect. The girl at the acceptance (Claudia, I guess) is as gentle as nice.
Awesome the bar where I had a drink before going out for dinner.
The bedroom missed nothing, WiFi stable, TV, huge bathroom with shower.
The breakfast in the morning is abundand and good.
Pity not have spent a second night.
If I will be in latina for work again, I will definitely come back to this hotel.

I stayed about fifty nights here over the past two years. It is a pleasant hotel that is always very clean and the staff are very hospitable. The bar is great for aperitif, the small bar food treats are tasty and the selection is generous. If you are a large American like myself you may find the shower stall to be small by US standards, but it is ok.if you do not like firm beds this place is not for you, stay at the Marriott Roma Park for the plush bedding. The breakfast is excellent, the indoor pool is tranquil.

Room Tip: Ask to stay in the back away from the street noise. Stay on the side closes to the main square, the...

This is our 2nd stay at the Hotel Europa. We spent a week here over Christmas and New Year's. Just as our last stay 6 months ago, the service was awesome! I think there is a new lady manager running the place. The same staff were there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. Denice, the bar manager, was a jewel! She is awesome and we really made us feel comfortable and at home. The hotel is conveniently located near Piazza del Popolo and we chose it since we didn't rent a car. We walked everywhere and found it very convenient. Our room 209 was immaculate and very comfortable. The housekeepers go above and beyond and take pride in their work and it really shows. The daily breakfast was plentiful with a variety of hot and cold items. Thanks to all of the staff!!! We certainly will return.

The Hotel Europa is a nice hotel with a European feel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are acceptably sized, but not large. The TV options included CNN and MTV in English, otherwise German and Italian channels. Wireless is available for 5 Euros per day. My main issue was the mattress, which was VERY firm.

There is a bar, restaurant, and spa in the hotel.

Staff at the bar was very friendly. The bar offers small sandwiches, cheeses, and olives with purchase of drinks.

The restaurant offered a very nice complementary breakfast including eggs, bacon, breads, cheeses, and a wide variety of pastries. The morning wait staff was friendly, fluent in English, and kept the area clean and the guests comfortable. The offerings for dinner were somewhat less acceptable. While the food tasted fine, some items were obviously frozen or refrigerated and inadequately heated prior to serving.

The spa was closed for repairs during my visit.

Room Tip: get a double bed, if possible, The rooms are somewhat bigger.

I stayed in January.
Double room was around 130 Euros, it is placed around 500mtrs from the city centre.
The room was good and had ample space, the rooms had wifi for 5euro's a day or you could use a signal in the lobby which was free, I had a phone just above the lobby so I only had to pay for the first day, then used that. I had a problem with the keycard, which I had to report three times, and after the cleaner also reported it with me, the reception gave me the actual key to use instead.
Breakfast is good, and an ample selection. The wellness centre in the basement is clean and relaxing, the pool is ok, if not a little small.
A slight bad point is that the hotel does not have any parking what so ever, so you have to use the city centre parking lot just over the road, which is pay and display.
To have your car there all day costs around 4 euro's. and if you drive somewhere during the day and try to get back, during certain times it can get obviously extremely busy.
The staff were reasonably helpful with ordering fast food etc, but lacked with the keycard.
The Rooftop restaurant is adiquate, if not a little expensive for the quality of the food, you won't get much change from 50 euros per person.

Overall one of the better hotels i've stayed in.

Room Tip: rooms on the lower floors can recieve the free wireless in the lobby.
