“Convenient and affordable”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

My business takes me to Latina frequently. I look forward to staying at the Hotel Europa each time. Carla is amazing - she is so kind that she makes you feel like you are in your own home. Enrico at the bar is wonderful for conversation, restaurant advice or anything you need. Valentina in the front desk takes care of all your needs - even if you need to leave your luggage for a middle weekend while traipsing off to tour some other city.

Each day there are snacks for happy hour that could serve as a meal. The restaurant is a limited menu that changes daily. The food I ordered was delicious but there are choices I was not brave enough to order. The spa on premise is top notch.

Room Tip: All rooms are of equal qualtiy

The Hotel Europa is a clean, reasonably efficient (in Italian terms) hotel. The best thing I can say about it is the location--right in the center of Latina, easy walking distance to most things in Latina. Nicely appointed, the lobby is spacious and comfortable, the bar decent. (Hint: they have free finger foods in the early evening--buy a glass of wine, coffee or beer and eat!)

Rooms were small but pleasant. The bathrooms are nice, but the shower stall very small. They did not replace the soap or shampoos each day, and there was only one bath towel and face towel in the room. The safe worked well--I did accidentally use the wrong code, and the desk person came up immediately to open it for me. Breakfasts were good--lots of breads, cereals, fresh fruit, pastries and a good self-serve coffee machine. Rooms were warm--I had to open the window to get fresh air--my colleague told me she called the front desk and they turned down the air conditioner temperature for her.

Overall, a good, solid, if not spectacular place to stay if you must be in Latina.

Is there anything particularly bad about this hotel? No. The reception is OK although customer service is erratic and on occasion non existent. The hotel is clean. The lifts are noisy but function well enough.
The rooms are a reasonable size and the bathroom spacious. So why mark this hotel down? It is an intangible. The rooms are cold and uninviting. The bathroom very cold with no heater. The WiFi did not work.
The breakfast buffet was adequate but not great in comparison to other hotels with this star rating.
The restaurant on the top floor was functional rather than inviting. The waiter however was wonderful with a sense of humour and generous with the wine. The food took forever to arrive but when it did it was very good so worth a visit if you stay there.
What you get for your money is a hotel in a reasonable location, with reasonable rooms at a 3 -4 star level. Nothing more

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the elevator

Not impressed with this hotel. I would think that the hotel would understand they are accommodating foreigners unaccustomed to host country ways. However this could be further from the truth at this hotel. Staff were generally rude and unaccommodating. Rooms were cold and uninviting, beds very uncomfortable. Recommend spending your money elsewhere. Definitely will NOT be staying again.

This is a nice hotel near downtown that is within walking distance of a lot of nice restaurants. Decent wifi and the rooms are generous by European standards. Ladies should bring their own shampoo and facecloth though, which is typical for Europe. Breakfast is great with a full continental spread of fruit, meats and cheese to go with the more typical sweet pastries you tend to see in Italy.

We stayed here for close to three weeks and we enjoyed most of it. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the bathrooms are spacy with a shower, no tub. The thing we didnt like at all was the bed, it was just to hard to have a real comfortable sleep. The breakfast is terrific, from sweets to cold cuts, anything you would like. Even the different coffees coming out of the machine tasted fantastic. You definitely have to visit the pool with a waterfall, sort of like an underwater spring and a skylight right at the top - FANTASTIC!

I have spent one night in this hotel, really in the centre of Latina.
Clean, nice, comfortable in every aspect. The girl at the acceptance (Claudia, I guess) is as gentle as nice.
Awesome the bar where I had a drink before going out for dinner.
The bedroom missed nothing, WiFi stable, TV, huge bathroom with shower.
The breakfast in the morning is abundand and good.
Pity not have spent a second night.
If I will be in latina for work again, I will definitely come back to this hotel.
