I have just come back from our holiday and it was excellent. We are a family of four. Two adults and two kids ( 6 and 1). We found the hotel excellent. Very clean, roomy with nice staff members and good food. The two pools are excellent, the indoor was handy when it rained ( which wasn't much!). The toodler pools are very good also.

The staff were very efficient and friendly and the hotel is located in a great spot.

Stayed for a week in high season. Was a lovely place, though full it was never busy, the pool was very good plenty of beds and fresh towels. Lots of nice touches. A bottle of bubbles on my birthday left in our room, great service from friendly staff, just a nice place. Ate here a couple of times also good, Lazise 200 metres away providing plentiful restaurants etc , great place.

A chic hotel with clean lines and modern decor - maybe a little business like but I prefer this t the standard holiday hotel where everything looks a little tired. We did have a room on the side so the lake view was very limited and consequently we didn't really use the balcony. Fantastic staff from those in the Dome Restaurant to the reception. Nothing was too much trouble! Great food - diets have to go on hold as the dinner is a mere four courses with a mix of buffet and a la carte.
Outdoor swimming pool was much larger than I expected and the jacuzzis at one end were a nice touch. Always plenty of sunbeds and no pesky people reserving them (my pet hate) before breakfast. Indoor pool not really used but large and with a nice wellness area and spa. Had a couple of spa treatments which were nice but not the best I have ever had. Short walk along the lake front to the cute town of Lazise so a real winner overall!

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have the best lake views and choose a high room if you want a really good view.

Just to add to my review - the rating for the rooms was FIVE STARS, but it shows as two; apologies; we tried to get Tripadvisor to change this but it wasn't possible ..... This was an excellent hotel all-round

Room Tip: Garden view room is excellent as also looks out over the lake

Firstly it's worth saying that this review is influenced because of the room we were allocated. Having booked a junior suite we had expected something far better than the room we were given. We were accompanied on holiday by family who had reserved a superior standard room at a lower price, but who ended up with a nicer room with a lake view that would have had sufficient space to accommodate our child's bed (the reason we had booked the junior suite in the first place). Our room had no lake view and quite basic facilities (including very noisy air conditioning). Generally the rooms are devoid of any character or comfort - they would be well suited to a newly built business hotel in a city.

Despite complaining about the room upon our arrival, we were only offered an upgrade if we paid the difference (having just been in Venice where we had been upgraded for free and without asking). The general service and attitude of the reception staff during the five days we were at the hotel could only be described as 'functional' and if anything, the overall feeling was that of a business hotel in a tourist location. While nothing had been too much trouble during our stay in Venice, the opposite seemed true at Corte Valier in Lazise.

That our stay should have been negatively impacted by our room and the staff is hugely disappointing. The hotel itself is very well equipped - the pool is lovely, as is the terrace and breakfast areas. The indoor pool is a good size and our two year old son loved the play room. The location is excellent, just a five to ten minute lake-side walk away from an excellent selection of restaurants and cafes in Lazise (all more competitively priced than the hotel restaurant) as well as the boat station.

Perhaps indicative of our stay, was that as we departed, we were left to load our suitcases into our taxi and return the trolley ourselves, with no offer of help from any member of staff..

Room Tip: Be very careful which room you select, not all have a lake room as advertised. Avoid the Junior Suites with 'lateral views'.
