An eclectic rental apt for those who prefer to live like a local while on vacation. Fantastic location in the heart of Lecce's historic centre, close to all major sights (within walking distance) and amenities. I stayed in the red apt for two months (April and May 2013) and was treated like family by the owner, Luciana, who is very welcoming and responsive. Not to be confused with a "bed and breakfast" in the North American (i.e., frilly/lacy/Victorian) sense, but perfect for the independent traveller who wants to feel at home in Lecce. Very comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, but small bathroom. The rooftop terrace is an oasis not to be missed. Only downside would be some noise from the neighbouring rental apt, but I look forward to going back and highly recommend this Lecce find.
