Having eaten at ca'noa, on the recommendation from a write up in the daily Telegraph, my advice would be to totally ignore the journalists comments and avoid this restaurant unless you are looking to eat "only" pizza.
The food certainly does not resemble homemade cuisine, most of which was in edible. We started with the lardo appetiser with porcini mushrooms, these were tinned, and awful, and the lardo was not great. Next pizza, which was good nice and thin base. Followed by stinko & polenta and porcini mushrooms, the pork was very dry, which is unusual as normally cooked in the sauce, and it must have been cooked a number of times, polenta tasteless, and mushrooms tinned with no flavour. Veal scallopini with wine wine sauce, had not been panned fried but roasted some time ago, and was not the correct cut of meat to serve as a scallopini, again not appetising at all, and we left most of our main dishes.
The bill came to 95euro, for a meal we barely ate apart for the pizza, so money not well spent!
So I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a authentic tasty Italian meal.
