I stayed here as part of a package ski hoiday with Inghams. The hotel is long established and my son stayed there thirty odd years ago. The hotel is clearly family owned and several generations seem to work there.
I found the staff extremely sociable and the standard of meals was high. Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced.. My room was fine with a television which included Sky News.
I paid a 10 Euro fee to use the hotel's wi-fi. It worked well in the bar and dining room lbut the signal was too weak in my bedroom to establish a connection.
There is a good ski and boot room with heating. Lockers are available in return for a 5 Euro deposit. The hotel is in the centre of the village and near to the shops. The ski buses to all the ski areas pass just outside the hotel.
Just one minor criticism; the lights on the staircase and landings are mostly operated by motion sensors which can be slow to switch on and can switch off too soon when waiting for the lift.
That will not prevent me from returning next year. Revellers in the street can make a noise during the night but this was not too serious a problem.
