year after year, this is the place where I do spend my winter holiday. No other hotel in Madonna di Campiglio offer the great combination of peace,relax, beautiful panorama, excellent food and wine. The secret is just one: the owners! The whole family do everything to make you feel great day after day. And if you don't have enough of it, the perfect ski resort do the rest.
We've stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and I can say that this is by far one of the best hotels I've ever been to. It should be mentioned separately the place where it is situated. When we arrived at the hotel it was already dark outside and we didn't have a chance to see the breathtaking landscape that surrounds it. But when we got up next morning... The location of the hotel is probably the best in the whole area... Every morning we were having breakfast (a delicious one), enjoying a fresh juice that we made ourselves and contemplating a magnificent view. The food deserves a special attention. Being a big fan of Italian food, I can say that my expectations weren't disappointed.
What about the interior, this is exactly what my idea of the traditional alpine house was. It's so cozy and home-like that it makes you want to just sit in an armchair with a glass of wine and enjoy the beauty that is in front of you.
And, of course, this is the people (the family that owns the hotel, the waiters, even the driver who brought us to the lift) who made this time we spent there even more unforgettable.
I would certainly recommend this hotel and would love to come there again.
I just spent three nights at Biohotel Hermitage and was impressed with how comfortable it was, the beautiful views and excellent service. Barbara, the manager, was wonderful as was the entire staff in the restaurant. The rooms are clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that we had to pay for interent. However, we were very happy at this hotel.
We stayed for 10 days over Easter skiing. The service was friendly - for example on the day we arrived we did not get in until 10.30 pm and the kitchen was closed, however the staff made us the most delicious salad and made us feel very welcome. Barbara, who runs the hotel, was great throughout.
The food was very good - 4 course half-board was better than many restaurants and definitely a cut above normal hotel food.
The views of the Brenta Dolomites were stunning, and the wonderful sauna and steam room were very welcome after a hard day on the slopes.
The hotel is a little out of town, but provide a minibus with the ever-smiling Enzo, who ferried us from the ski-room to the lifts and collected us at the end of the day.
All in all, a great experience.
Although it was snowing on our arrival, we were given a warm welcome. We had no view from our balcony for 2 days because of the weather. On the third morning the view from our balcony revealed the most spectacular view of the Brento Dolomiti and a snow-clad forest - truly breath-taking. Lovely skiing. Extremely helpful chaffeur service to slopes. Beautiful spa. Going again next year.
Stayed for 5 nights. Absolutely tremendous family run hotel with very high quality standards, service and food. I understand the hotel was recently renovated. It was done beautifully. Still retains a mountain chalet charm but with first class fixtures, etc. The rooms are outstanding. Very comfortable and warm, plus generous bathrooms and private balconies.
The hotel is situated slightly out of town, with probably the best views in the area. Stunning. Being away from the town center it is also more peaceful, they even have their own vegetable gardens for their excellent restaurant. They also have an excellent spa facility - pool (indoor), sauna, steam rooms, massage, etc.
We had spent the previous two weeks travelling through Italy and found the BioHotel Hermitage to be a great oasis. Warm family feeling, great staff, stunning views, comfortable rooms, charming dining room, bar/lounge with a stunning view of the Dolomites and a great spa to come back to after a vigorous mountain hike. We had our two teenage daughters with us. They loved it - the mini-suite was a great set up for us, two full bathrooms and two sleeping areas. We would definately go back.
