We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in September of 2012. We liked it from the moment we arrived. The people were so friendly and welcoming. We had the breakfast and dinner plan, the food was so good, we enjoyed every meal. Service was excellent. Added to all this the location along the Amalfi Coast was perfect. It was walking distance to the bus, grocery store, the main street etc. The evening strolls along the Sea were so romantic. Thank you to the manager and the service people for a wonderful stay.

Excellent location along the Amalfi coast. Easy day trips to Salerno, Sorrento, Ravello, Pompei, and Amalfi. Across the street to the ocean and the beautiful coast. Hotel located in a small town with very friendly people and great restaurants. Good hiking to the walled city and to the castle. The food and service at the hotel was fantastic. Rooms are very comfortable but the beds a little hard for our taste. Other than the hard beds, it was a perfect stay.

Room Tip: We stayed in an end room (#216) with a balcony and a view of the Mediterranean.

This was the perfect location to the end of our Italy vacation. The staff were able to make arrangements for transportation and tours. Rooms were lovely.
Our balcony overlooked the beach - we were able to just cross the street and enjoy the new hotel bar and cafe in the area provided for hotel guests only - lounge chairs and umbrellas are provided.
The ferry dock to various spots along the coast (Positano, Capri) is just a few steps away.
This quiet town had wonderful restaurants nearby as well.

Room Tip: Balcony rooms on top floor give a nice view.

We stayed here for a week in September 2013. The hotel is well maintained, reception areas, lounge, bedroom and restaurant all spotless and the staff were always immaculately turned out, courteous and helpful. We had a double room at the front of the hotel overlooking the beach and harbour; a very spacious room and large balcony. On the negative side the safe was insecure and not fastened to the wall so it was fully portable! However we left valuables in it with no problems. Also no information in the room about the hotel, fire procedures etc and no tea making facility so take your own kettle, cups and drinks.Restaurant was beautiful and meals very good...choice a bit limited ie 2 main courses to choose from for dinner. Staff service was totally efficient and courteous, although staff didn't seem inclined to go beyond their duties, eg no effort (except once) to engage in conversation. Overall however a great experience, with beach and bar just approx 200 metres from front door and town 5 minutes walk away.Recommended.

Room Tip: Go for a room at the front of the hotel with a sea view.

We booked this holiday with Citalia (part of Thomsons) and they were very efficient in all aspects of getting us from the airport to the Hotel, but be aware, if you book with them there will be no rep visits to the Hotel or in fact in the area! The hotel reception told us that if we needed to speak to a rep they had to fax them?? anyway, we did not need a rep as the hotel staff did a very good job in looking after its guests. We had a sea view room (albeit partial) with a balcony on the top floor, which was quite comfortable apart from the bed being a bit hard. The room also had a TV (+Sky which you have to pay for) and wifi (free) and a fairly useless basic hair dryer (so my wife said)Th room was also cleaned every day ( which you do not find in most hotels. The restaurant was a bit strange as it was in two parts (front and back) but worked well. The menu for dinner was relayed by word of mouth to you at your table when you sat down, but the menu was fairly good ( but small portions) and if you like locally caught fish you will love the different ways they prepare them. The hotel does not have a pool but, you will be allocated your own free sun bed on the private part of the beach they have, but be aware that they have locals using the beach and it could get rather noisy and the small children do tend to run around (like kids do) but the "hotels beach attendant" tries to keep good order and it is not a real problem. We had our lunch at the "cafe" with the same name as the hotel ( but is nothing to do with the hotel) just to the left as you come off the beach and it was very good and reasonable. If you want you can get a bus into Amalfi at a cost of 2.5 Euros (one way) but be prepared to wait at the bus stop for a while as they are not always on time and if they are full (which they usually are) they will not stop. Minori is well worth a visit (15 min walk) and it has a great cake shop on the front! In Maiori At night, it is the fashion to stroll along the front and you can stop off and have a drink at one of the bars and people watch (if you are so inclined!)
Overall it was a nice chill out holiday

Room Tip: Choose a room at the front, over the entrance in either rooms numbered 209/10/11 or 309/10/11 as they afford the best views
