We ate here twice during our week in Malcesine and it was excellent on both occasions. Although the restaurant was reasonably busy the service was prompt and friendly. We sat out on the terrace on both occasions - there is a canopy that covers this outside area if the weather suddenly becomes inclement.
The fillet steak was superb - a generous size and cooked well to your liking - 19.50 euros. Side dishes were extra at about 4 to 4.50 euros, but portions were very generous. We had potatoes/chips each, but shared the grilled med veg, which was delicious!
Desserts were also delicious and beautifully presented - especially the panna cotta. About 6 euros each.
The wine list was reasonably extensive, with most being well-priced. A nice bottle of Bardolino cost about 16 euros.
Arsenio, his wife and daughters provided the waiting service and this was prompt and friendly.
We had two very enjoyable evenings at this restaurant!
