Lovely retreat after the hustle and bustle of Venice. Nice size room with a newly refurbished bathroom. Very quiet and very friendly staff. It is only a 5 minute walk from the number 6 bus stop which takes you straight into Venice. The breakfast was good, you could even have it on the terrace at the front of the hotel if you wished. We left our luggage on the last day whilst we went into Venice and then walked the 15 minutes to Mestre Station to get the bus back to Treviso Airport. Would recommend and if we come back to Venice we will definitely stay again.

We were upgraded to an apartment at no extra cost as there was something wrong with the bathroom in the 4 bed room we booked. This was our lucky day as it was beautiful! On the third floor so a bit of a climb with our luggage but worth the effort. Very well appointed with two king beds in huge rooms. Spotless bathroom and shower. A/C with good black out curtains. Breakfast was not included in the price but was very good with warm croissants, coffee, breads, pastries, ham, cheese, pastries etc. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Located about a 10-15 min walk from the Mestre train station so was convenient to go back and forth to Venice. Was also a large supermarket on the corner. Very nice! Would happily stay again.

Beautiful little place in a not-so-nice area but lovely room (with new bed as of this winter, apparently!), nice new bathroom and really mediterranean feel. Good breakfast (€6) too.
5min walk to bus into Venice which goes every 10min and takes about 15min, €2.60 return tix can be bought at hotel. Couldn't be easier!
V helpful staff and a big drawn-out map at reception with bus stop, closest restaurant etc. There are parking spaces at the hotel but also a good number along the road. V good value for money considering how easy it is to get into Venice without paying Venice prices!
Totally recommended.

(We actually stayed in April 2013, but I missed the opportunity to rate this fabulous hotel via our booking site!)

After trawling a few comparison sites, I came across Antica Villa. This was one of the only hotels I could find close to Venice, reasonably priced, and able to cater for our group of 7. The hotel had received mixed reviews, and so I was a little dubious. I needn't have been: we had a superb stay.

We booked 3 rooms - a single, a twin and a room for 4: most others were unable to provide a room for 4, with beds for two children.

The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. There was a bus stop a short walk from the hotel, with a direct bus to Venice (there was an option to walk, of course, but it was quite far!) The hotel price was excellent at around £25 per person, per night for our 2-night stay.

Based on our experience, we would certainly stay there again!

Dear Sir,
I am sorry that he had difficulties to arrive at the hotel from the station.
In fact, the train station is only 800/900 meters far and if you don't have heavy suitcases there is a beautiful promenade walk under the trees up at our hotel, only 15 minutes walking.
However, you can also take bus No. 15 in front of the main entrance of the station (direction towards Marghera), or even a taxi will cost about 20/25 euro.
All details on how to reach us with even a small map, you can find on our internet site "VillaGraziella.com" and are also printable.
Thank you for your kind review, we're looking forward to seeing you again for your next trip to Venice.
Kind regards
Roberta
