“Average hotel with good connections to Venice”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

We chose to stay here as it had good reviews and a decent price close to Venice. The bus stops around the corner and takes 10 minutes to get to Venice Roma. Mestre station is an easy 10 minutes walk.
The staff were ok, but not very welcoming. The receptionist gave us some information and a map but he looked like he didn't want to be there! The room was very small but it was clean and ok for a place to sleep and shower which is what we needed. There was a mini bar and handy toiletries.
The breakfast was quite disappointing with watered down orange juice (probably powered) and cakes which were obviously left over from the day before. There was some cheese/ham/cereal etc though.
There isn't much in the way of restaurants around the area apart from a fairly expensive restaurant around the corner and Pizzeria Capri which had bad service and food which made me sick! If you choose this hotel, eat before you come back to Marghera!

Dear guest, apparently your criticism is based on nothing and above all not constructive. What we learned reading your review is that we leave in a big universe and fortunately we are different each other....good night and good luck

Hotel is located on mainland. Some 5 minutes walk from a bus stop taking you directly to Piazzale Roma bus station (some twenty minute ride). From there you can either walk or take a water bus. Friendly staff. Has a public "library" near the exit door to the parking lot, convenient for children, although most literature is in Italian. But still, you can grab a 2013 November edition and browse through the pages:). That is practically all good that I have to say about this hotel. It is a budget B&B hotel, not even three star hotel. Smallish rooms, even smaller bathroom. Claustrophobic shower, not clean. Towels were also not the cleanest. And bed and carpet, OMG, had stale smell. Carpet was really dirty and smelled, so we opened the window, but since there were no screens, we ended up with another problem - Mosquitos. Breakfast is more than modest. Bread, one type of cheese and jelly filled croissants. Some apples, juice and water. Since there were kids, they gave them one small pack of Nutella per child! Enough for one thin spread for a slice of bread. Coffee machine is not genuine espresso maker, but same coffee maker as in most European hotels, something that you would not expect in Italy. There is an outdoor patio for breakfast. Reception works until 23 and if you are coming after these hours, you get a code to get in. The wifi is free and you can use it in your rooms, breakfast area is not covered. The light bulb on LCD TV was really strong, glowing in the dark, so you have to unplug TV in order to sleep.

Tip: announce in advance that you are coming with a car so they can reserve you a parking (limited space); buy a bus pass at the reception since you can use it for water bus in Venice. Very practical. We bought 24h bus pass and toured Murano and entire Venice, Grand Canal on water bus for 20€ pp? 12h bus pass is 18€ and children go for free under 6, it is better to throw in 2€ more and get 24h pass.

Dear guest,
Villa Adele is a 3 stars hotel familiar conduction with the best combination between price and quality of service supply in this area. We don't have dirty carpet in this hotel and our breakfast has all the items to fulfill different taste at disposal of our clients. Obviously if you reserve a double room for two people but you arrive with 2 adults and 2 children like you have done probably with the only reason to save money you put in difficulties any mangement not only our one..

We stayed at this Hotel on May 2014

The staff where very helpfull and very friendly, they helped us in sightseeing and transport information

It is a 10min walk from Mestre Train Station, and next to the Hotel there is a bus stop where you can go to the center of venice for 1.3 Euro

Excellent Breakfast especially the Cappuccino :); nice Garden for Breakfast,

The Bathroom shower is special with some parts of Jacuzzi and high water pressure

Overall it was a very good stay

Room Tip: Choose a Ground Floor Room

This hotel offers just what we needed - kind service, calm place during the night, possibility to park our car on the hotel's parking, vicinity of bus station, also the train station is just about 10 mins walk away (we prefered the climatized train to crowdy and hot bus - days of our visit have been hot and humid in Venice). A decent restaurant (with out-of-Venice prices) is just 2 mins walk from the hotel, we have noticed also others not far away. Possibility to have the breakfast outside in the shaded hotel's garden, and availability of all kinds of tickets for the Venetian transportation (including vaporettos, excluding trains) have been just additional "bonus". Buying these things in the hotel instead of at the incredibly slow ticket-machines (having a long nervous queue behind) at the stations is a great option. All of the receptionists have been very helpful! And we were allowed to leave the car during the last day, after the check-out, without surcharge. Thanks!

You go to Venice for old world charm. You stay on the mainland for some economy and amenities. The Villa Adele falls short in these.
Basically a B&B, this place has some things going for it. It is a 5 minute walk from a bus that is a straight shot to the causeway out to Venice. The afternoon guy is quite helpful and the breakfast is ok. That’s where good things end. The rooms are match box small. The shower was smaller than you will find in a cruise ship. There were 2 English channels on the tiny TV and the internet was spotty at best. The bed was more than European firm and the AC was not going for the year yet. There were no screens on the windows so our attempts to cool it down for bed were met by an army of mosquitoes. The night gal was condescending at best.
You might be able to convince me the Villa Adelle is a 3, but a 4? No.

Room Tip: If you decide to stay here, ask for the first floor.

Dear Guest,
we are sorry to read that your impression about us didn't macht with your expectations.
The Hotel Villa Adele is a familiar 3 stars hotel style on the venetian mainland : our guests
booked normally this hotel just becouse is not located in the sometime chaotic historical
centre and becouse the service that we try to give, doing our best, to our guests.
At the very end we think that the combination between service and prize we propose is for
sure one of the best in the area.
We really hope to see you again....

Situated outside Venice and only need to take a direct bus to and fro. Near Mestra train station.
Not so good: limited choice of breakfast, internet connection not stable. Also try not to book the single room even if you are solo, it is really tiny.

we stayed at the villa adele during the easter weekend .it was easy to get from the marco polo airport to the accommodation . we booked in at hotel and was very happy with first experience as did other reviewers . our room was sufficient and had balcony to the front of the hotel . bathroom {shower only} was great clean great towels and toiletries . receptionist helped us with transport arrangements and we bought 3 day passes we could use on busses and water transport around venice . the bus stop was two min walk away and we were soon on venice island . breakfast was good nice outdoor patio to take breakfast when weather good enough . I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation and if we travel to the area in the future we shall try to book this place before any other it was excellent .

Room Tip: rooms at front have balcony ground floor room larger but no balcony
