Description: Taste a dish, especially if the old and deep roots, means to touch with 'taste' the old traditions genuine. Trattoria da Pino suggests you tasting food carefully prepared seconds canons passed and popular. Our business has always been conducted with family. Over the years we have stored experience and tested our passion. We try to ensure the right fit elegance, but also the tradition that we hope you can enjoy in the dishes that we prepare carefully. We are in a town with wonderful resources, Marsala. Choose to stand with us for a lunch or a dinner is to grasp the opportunity to taste the intoxicating flavors and then plunge into the warm and dreamy atmosphere of the waterfront of Marsala. We walked in to Trattoria da Pino when they opened at 7:45pm without a reservation, and the restaurant gradually filled with locals and friends of locals during the course of our meal. We sampled the antipasti bar which offered cool food (zucchini, beans with tuna, eggplant, fried mushrooms, etc), and also tried the pasta and the fish. Choosing from a plate of fresh fish and ordering it cooked exactly how we liked was something you don't normally get to do- even in Italy.

While all the food was good - the antipasti definitely is something special relative to other restaurants we've tried in the south of Italy.

Staff spoke some English, but were very pleasant and understanding of our poor Italian language skills.

We were there for lunch one day and we saw white collar workers, blue collar workers, tourists, retired people, everyone! The starters alone are enough for a lunch. The pasta was great, the fish as well. Local white wines. The price surprised us, more than fair. I don't know if anyone speaks English. I also speak Italian so didn't bother to ask. But the service was very good.

Looking for an authentic trattoria simple seafood made from fresh frutti di mare? Don't mind crowded place, fact that waitstaff will have to be spoken to using your hands, unless you can manage it in Italian? Ok with painfully white fluorescent lights? This is the place! Fresh, non gimmicky food, 20+ plates for antipasti (vegs, fish). Must see if you are on off the beaten track traveling.

The design is not very cozy (fluorescent lamps at night), but the atmosphere definitely is! Excellent and very personal service, delicious food, some tourists but mainy locals.
