We stayed at the hotel w/ 2 kids for 3 nites in July. We enjoyed our stay very much. The view was spectacular and the decor of the hotel was very nice. The staff was friendly, trying very hard to make sure every guest enoyed his/ her stay, especially Bruna who was genuine, helpful, gave good advice and always with a beautiful smile. Giuseppe, the general manager was very friendly and helpful too. We dined at the hotel's restaurant every nite, the food was good and we enjoyed it very much though it came with a price tag (50€/ pax).

However there were a few things I didn't like though were not a big deal. The decor of the bathroom in the room was outdated, and lack of room for toileteries and had no hook at all for hanging bathrobe or clothes. The housekeeping was not up to standard, flat sheet was not tugged in, clothes were piled up sloppily. There was trash in the private garden which was left before our arrival.

Would I recommend it to anyone? Yes! To those who are looking for a real quiet resort.

Stayed: July 2012

We came to the relais on 1 August for our wedding. We had already been aquatinted with Antonino a couple of days before. He is the owner and met with us personally to ensure that everything that they would be doing for the wedding would be perfect.

We were speechless with how clean and modern the place was, but above all else, the views were spectacular.

We returned 2 days later for the wedding and were greeted by the person in charge of making sure our day went smoothly. I can't remember his name but he used to live in Sunderland. What an amazing man he was too, So friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to make sure we had a relaxed and comfortable time. He really made the day special for us!

The bar staff and waiters were also brilliant, as were the chefs who made us some beautiful food. Antonino you should be proud of the staff you have, they really are a credit to the relais.

We finished off the day by moving up to the roof terrace to watch the sunset. A great end to a great day.

The only slight problem we had was with the mini bus that picked us up however this wasn't the relais fault.

Brilliant day, brilliant service and brilliant food!!!

We booked this amazing hotel for our honeymoon and we could not have made a better choice. The panoramic views of Capri and the ocean from our 'Special room' were simply breathtaking, the views from the terrace and pool were also spectacular. We watched the sun set most nights and it never got old. We also could not fault the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff. There is no pressure put on you to eat at the hotel, with a free pick up service to other local restaurants provided. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom, with its jacuzzi bath, was very welcoming after a long day exploring the sites that Italy has to offer. I would highly recommend the private boat tour to Capri, our captain Massimo let us tailor our day, firstly taking us around the island to swim in the blue grotto, we were then taken to a restaurant that can only be reached by boat at the far end of Capri, our day finished up with shopping on Capri and a leisurely ride back to port. This cost 300 euro, which is very reasonable considering it was a private boat, with only myself. my husband and the captain on board, we felt like we had won the lottery, laying back on the padded bow of the boat, sunbathing.
If you are thinking of a trip to Italy, I can guarantee you would not be dissapointed with Relais Blu as your hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 106, which has stunning views.
