And the service is just as amazing. Antonio, Bruna, Andrea, Adrian, and Fabio all were attentive, personable, and always making our September 2013 stay one we will never forget. This boutique hotel is a great location for relaxing and escaping the tourist locations, and easy enough to to take day trips to Capri, Sorrento, Naples, Amalfi. We spent our final 6 days of our 15 day trip to Italy and are so happy we did. Your going to love it!!

Lovely room, great jacuzzi bath. Comfy beds and lovely balcony.

The views are fabulous, especially from the pool and restaurant.

We really enjoyed the meat and fish taster menus. Great service.

Maybe the wifi and TV signal could be improved and signs to the pool - but we loved it.

This is a classy and quality experience - would love to come again.

Me and my daughter stayed her for 3 nights in September. We had a lovely room with fabulous bathroom. Lovely view from our room. The main terrace is amazing with views of Capri to die for. The infinity pool is lovely with a wonderfully glorious view over the gulf. We dined in the restaurant, this was a very enjoyable experience if not somewhat expensive, however you do get freebies throughout. I have a couple of suggestions that would make this a perfect place.

I would like to have a lighter hairdryer in the bathroom with a button that you dont have to keep your finger on to keep it on , hairdryer so heavy and difficult to use.

The pool would be much more enjoyable if it was heated.

At the pool area it would be lovely if there was a phone conecting the pool area to the kitchen/bar to order snacks/drinks.

Leaving these aside, it is a lovely hotel, very stylish, friendly, expensive.

This is one of the time when I doubt about the effectiveness of Tripadvisor. I wonder how can people evaluate this Hotel in a different way than 'Excellent'. Fantastic place, gorgeous rooms, wonderful terraces, stunning view, very kind and helpful staff. This is one of the best places I have ever been: luxury but discrete. Very expensive but it merits all the money you spend. Not to be missed

We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour of the Amalfi coast, and I'd have to say it was probably our favourite of the four great hotels we visited. It's a little off the beaten track, which adds to its charm, and has a very comfortable, chilled-out atmosphere slightly unusual among hotels of this class. Service is relaxed but efficient, overseen by the charming and hands-on 30-something owner-manager Antonino Acampora and his sister. The design of the hotel throughout is cool white minimalism, but you're likely to be sold on the place within the first five minutes - as soon as you see the spectacular views from the terrace bar, visible as soon as you walk through the front door and offering a panorama stretching over the entire bay of Naples, with the island of Capri perfectly positioned in the centre of the frame.

A steep walk up the hillside from reception bring you to the equally photogenic infinity pool (unheated!), which from the loungers appears to blend seamlessly into the bay hundreds of metres below. Our room was spacious, enhanced by a sweet little garden with its own olive tree and views over the outdoor jacuzzi and the bay beyond. Very nice, although the lighting in the bathroom was a little dim. The restaurant is great too, also situated on the panorama terrace and offering fine dining without too much fussiness, with a glorious setting sun as your breath-taking backdrop.

It's worth noting that there isn't too much to do or see in the immediate vicinity. This is definitely the quieter part of the coast. The hotel has a beach club a short taxi ride away at Nerano, but it was closed when we visited and didn't look very interesting. Instead we had a simple but very pleasant lunch at Il Cantuccio, one of several well-regarded restaurants situated on Nerano's rather basic shingle beach. Whichever one you visit, be sure to try the spaghetti with zucchini, the village speciality.

you get what you pay for. this was a hotel I will never forget. I now know the meaning of relaxation. the location for the view was excellent. to sit with morning coffee overlooking the bay of napoli with Vesuvius in the distance and watching the boats ply to carpi was an excellent was to start the day.
the staff were polite, professional efficient. the menu was varied with excellent presentation and quality. the rooms were individual, spacious all had excellent views. I can recommend this hotel without reservation for a break, Holiday or wedding. the staff will arrange any transportation you need, trip, evening out or airport.
I would like to visit again.

Room Tip: all the rooms are good, different sizes and views dependent on price.
