These rooms are a great size and very nice and clean. The price was a great value. Giovanna had great suggestions on how to get around by water taxi and by bus. She was very sweet and really helped make our time in Venice even more amazing.

This place was a wonderful location for our stay in Venice. Bus stops are quite close with frequent bus service to Venice island. the interiors of room, laundry and toilet were all very clean and nice. Though we did not use it, there is a nice coffee machine in the room for coffee lovers. The breakfast with toasts, jams, butter, juice could have been better though. The price is not so less that one does not expect a good warm breakfast.
Special word for the owner. Giovanna is very friendly and makes sure you know all about the important places to see. She also suggested some nice places to eat.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 3 which was quite nice. We did not see any other rooms but I am expecting all of t...

I stayed with my wife and 2-year-old child in this hotel to visit venice. We were really close from the bus station with regular schedules to the Venice terminal. The host was very kind to us and explained all the information about the city. He gave us excellent tips about what transportation to use, where to buy it, what places to visit, even how to avoid the bigger tourist concentrations and see more of the Venice area.
Breakfast is in the room and mini-bar, it was very practical. The rooms are nice, big and clean. The price was good too. I recommend this place!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 2, first room accessible from the staircase. It had a big bathroom, connected to t...

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel which is conveniently located 5 minutes away from a bus that goes directly into Venice proper. The buses run til about 11PM, and then there's a night service that runs 24 hours as far as I'm aware.

The hotel itself is pretty easy to find and about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. The prices were slightly more expensive than the narrow budget that we were sticking to, but I am wholly prepared to accept that this was a totally worthy investment.

Our host was attentive, friendly and made sure that every detail of our stay was seen to. She pointed out local spots of interests, good eateries and tips about public transport all the while being as cheerful as one could hope for in a hotelier. She also works as an artist and her own work is among the decorations scattered around the hotel, giving the place a homely and slightly quirky feel,

The room itself was excellent, of a very good size (we had a double with en suite) with a very comfortable bed. Linen was clean and changed regularly. The bathroom was clean and has a good shower system and hairdryer.

Breakfast is a limited but reasonable affair with some bread, jams and other confectionery that is replenished daily. Milk, tea and coffee are provided, as is a small fridge. However, the crowning glory of the room has to be the esspresso machine promising concentrated caffeinated goodness to perk you up after a long day of sightseeing.

Nights here were quiet and restful, and it was very easy to adapt the check out times to our needs.

Overall, this is a complete gem of a place that has easily earned the excellent reviews it has garnered. We definitely intend to stay at again if we are ever in the Venice area.

Outlet Sweet Venice B&B is ideal budget accommodation for your visit to Venice. It's located at Mestre (on the mainland just over the causeway from the island of Venice) just around the corner (200 meters) from the main business area (supermarket, bank, restaurants & coffee shops etc), and bus stop for commuting to the island of Venice. It's also only 700 - 800 meters from the Mestre train station - convenient if arriving or departing by train. We had previously (13 years ago) stayed in an hotel on the island, but found Mestre much more convenient. Don't have to worry about dragging baggage along rough cobbled streets, up and down stairs and over bridges from the train / bus terminus dodging thousands of other visitors to your hotel accommodation, or witness them precariously balanced on a canal boat, hoping they make it back to dry land!. It has easy access to busses (and reasonably priced at 1,30 Euros one way) to Venice. If arriving by air, the shuttle bus from Marco Polo Airport delivers you to just near Mestre train station for the short, manageable walk to Outlet Sweet Venice. And when you get there you'll be made to feel like you've just arrived home when greeted by Giovanna. From the street the two level building blends in with the other buildings around it (reflecting the style of building construction in the area), but the rooms are well appointed, clean and spacious - very comfortable - and secure, both from the street and internally. There's an excellent place to eat, Hostaria La Vite Rossa, just around the corner. It's very popular so unless you get there early you may need to book - and Giovanna did this for us on our arrival. We stayed for 2 nights prior to boarding for a cruise, and 2 more nights after the cruise (NB minimum 2 nights requested), and received email follow up before we arrived back confirming our arrival arrangements, so we knew we hadn't been forgotten .... very comforting. We've already recommended it to friends and we'd definitely stay there again as a first choice.

Room Tip: There are only a few rooms in the B&B. We stayed in two different rooms (on separate occasions...

The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the train/bus station, which have easy connections to both of the airports that service the area. A number of local buses run into Venice. The journey takes about 15 minutes.

The area surrounding the hotel isn’t that great. There aren’t a lot of good restaurants. Our first night there we tried the pizza place just across the street and it was the worst pizza during our time in Italy.

The rooms are large, clean, and well furnished. The “breakfast” is a bit sparse. Nothing but some packaged foods left in the room.

As we did not want to drive into Venice we fortunately found this wonder spot in Mestre. The room and service was excellent. You could not want a better host in Giovanna who did everything possible to make our stay there perfect. She has parking and is in short walking distance to bus transportation to Venice (a short trip into Venice). Giovanna speaks English and is extremely helpful in giving advice. Also there is a very good restaurant just around the corner (Osteria Da Mirco) which we enjoyed.
