I can't give this hotel enough praise. It's only a small hotel but the service and help that thy give is outstanding, a lot of larger hotels could learn from them, we arrived early and they sat us down with coffee and done the room straight away. They went out of their way to tell us about transport into venice and to the airport for the following morning. The bedroom was modern and comfortable and very clean.this is an ideal place as a place to stay just outside of venice with a very good bus service. We plan to go back for a long week-end and will book this hotel again.

Room Tip: Eat local not in venice if possible

__________
Near the station (5 minutes walk), great value/price factor - 85€ 2 nights with breakfasts, 2 persons. Small room (No. 102) but with enough space for short stay. Venice is easy to reach from hotel - bus or train nearby. Good breakfast but you should go early because of small quantity of tables.

I was lucky enough to book time at this resort 15 minutes by bus from Venice, convenient, easy to reach, small but very comfortable, clean, very friendly staff, only one flaw, the rooms are a bit smaller the standard for a few days .. but you can adapt, overall great find, great value for money.

We arrived late so had to collect our keys from the hotel across the road which was fine. When we got into our room it was smaller than expected but it was very clean and a nice temperature which you could alter yourself. The staff were polite & informative. We stayed for 5days and all in all we were very impressed and would definitely return.

The location is good, easy to find and reach with luggage. Staffs are friendly, I mean everyone has smile on their face, which I appreciate very much. The room looks quite small. It should be 17m2 (information from Booking.com) but it looks like smaller than the one I stayed before with only 14m2. It's OK, still well-equipped with all facilities we needed.

The one VERY IMPORTANT NOTE is: When we asked the staff about TIM sim card store, he recommended us to buy Lycamobile simcard for internet and calls. He got the leaflet at the reception counter, which means they recommend this to guests often. He told us to buy this simcard at the store which run by Indian. Those Indians told us it takes 24 hours to activate and no set-up is needed, but finally it took around 60 HOURS!!!!!!! We were almost leave Italy!!!!! Although finally it worked, I wouldn't trust them and buy this if I can choose again, I'd never buy this one!!!!

Deat Guest,
thanks for your review and for the good things you wrote about us.
I'm displeased about the things you wrote about the SIM CARD, especially because you had put it in the title of your review.
We don't sell SIM CARDS! it was just a publicity flyer that we had at the hotel as many others. I have suggested to you this SIM CARD because the cost was only 5 € insted of 25 € minimun of a bigger company card.
I'm sorry for the bad experience you had, to wait about 60 HS.... but please notice that in Italy also for mayor companies tha range time to activate a SIM CARD it's about 48 HS.
After that I remeber that I have show you in the map of Mestre also the shop of other 2 telephone companies near by the hotel (WIND and TIM) so it was up to you to choose the best option for your circunstance.
Anyway your review will be helpfull to us to alert guests about possibile problems about LYCA MOBILE... for 5 € I think that it's still a good option... but I will not be a guarantor of this company!
Best regards
Leandro

Good price, charming small rooms, clean, and in a great location. Walking distance from train station. From the Hotel to Venezia it takes no more than 20 minutes including the train commuting and tickets buying. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby to have dinner outside the island. Great place to stay.

Definitely recommend this hotel. Will choose this hotel next time we arrive to Mestre, Venice.
We have stayed here for 2 nights. Location is super - 300 meters from train station in a calm street. Hotel has a private car parking (6 places) for additional fee. At the time we arrived the owner was at the reception, car parking was not completely occupied, so he allowed us to park the car for free (for 2 days).
As of February 2014, hotel is only 3 years old (owner said so). Rooms are small, but very comfortable and clean, modern nice looking interior design. Wi-fi signal and speed are OK.
Breakfast is good. Served buffet-style in a small room near reception. Usual Italian style 3 star hotel breakfast: jam, yogurt, cheese, toasts, croissants, other bakery, juice, tea, coffee.
Staff is English speaking, very helpful and polite: explained where to go to eat, what to visit in Venice firstly (we had not much time), how to get to Venice, how to navigate in Venice etc.
