Hotel was clean. Close to Venetia. The bus station is 1 block from the hotel and there are buses going to Venetia every 15 min. make sure you buy the bus tickets before you get on the bus. NICOLA in the front desk was exceptional and very helpful. The old gentleman at night time was not as nice. wifi is free in the lobby , you just need to ask for the password in the front desk. Breakfast was included and it was pretty decent.

Anyone who reads my reviews will know I am peeved with excessive Wifi charges. Here we are in an ok hotel picked by our bicycle tour company. It's not in Venice but that's ok. Rooms decorated in the 70's. (is there a shortage of toilet paper in Italy-second hotel in a row where we had to go to the front desk for toilet paper). But, E 25 to get Wifi passes is just offensive. Stay here if you want to be off the grid and out of Venice.

Value: Booked through EasyJet because it was cheap, around $150/per night. If you can afford to splash out and feel like you need be in Venice when you sleep then go and stay in Venice.

Location: When I first booked it, I didn’t realize that this hotel was not actually in Venice and tried to change the booking but it was actually really easy to get to Venice from this hotel. The hotel manager advised to take the bus which only took 15 - 20 mins as opposed to catching the train, the train station is a good 20 mins walk way. You must buy your bus ticket from the kiosk and it was only around $2 one way which is a huge cost saving compared to actually staying in a hotel in Venice. Getting back was really easy too, take the same bus and since you'll probably get home at night time look out for the shops on where you got on the bus!

Rooms: Old carpet with poor room lighting. Decent wardrobe space with head to toe mirrors. Bathroom was very clean. Shower screen was a little tedious, if you didn’t set it up right - water may leak onto the floor. There was some smoke smell coming from another room which we complained about but was able to open the windows for fresh air.

Experience: Arriving at night, it felt like the middle of nowhere. The hotel seemed rather spooky. Since this was a budget hotel, just expect one staff at reception and no help with your luggage. Breakfast was well okay the first morning, the next morning we discovered a large group of Chinese tourist had dominated the breakfast room, devoured every since croissant and piece of ham. We were in a hurry and could not wait for the breakfast to be replenished but that’s what you get for staying at a budget hotel.

Customer service: Make sure you check your invoice, they tried to charge me for water which was suppose to be complimentary when you book via Booking.com. It not the money but rather the principle in this case.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the cruise port AND because it's much less expensive to stay here than in Venice. The place is quite pleasant and hidden away, so if you're driving, be ready to spend some time looking for it. Our room was small but very comfortable, and there was no problem with outside noises. The linens were comfy and fresh. They offered breakfast, but since we were crunched for time, I have no idea if if was tasty or not. Anything complimentary has to have something good about it. The shower had plenty of hot water, but so small you must go outside to change your mind. The hotel is close to the pedestrian center that has lots of shops and cafes. It is also close to the bus stop into Venice. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Tip: Walk to a restaurant called Dietro le Quinte and have their seafood pasta. It is just a few blocks from the 'town center.'

This hotel is not in Venezia but in Mestre, so please check at the airport before you board the bus to hotel. We found friendly people who helped us reach hotel.Rooms are not very big. Buses are not very expensive. There is a frequent (every 10 to 20 minutes) bus line taking you into Venice (about 30min). The parking is free. The hotel is cheap compared to hotels in Venice. Wifi is definately expensive. Breakfast is good as expected. staff friendly.

Rooms very basic and small but extremely comfortable bed. Shower tiny. Very quiet and if you don't want to pay Venice prices for a Hotel, this Hotel is perfect. Just a 20 minute bus ride into Venice and the Piazza in Mestre is great. Lupo Restaurant, true authentic Italian cuisine and just off the Piazza. Reception Staff very helpful and informative. Good choice for breakfast we felt.

Room Tip: Standard doubles are very small and compact.
