By looking at hotel in Venice it was too costly as a family and with a hire car in tow. We read other people review and decided to stay nearby which offer parking and good value hotel for family. As well as a bus stop nearby outside the hotel that run every twenty minutes to Venice. This was a good opportunity so we decided to book and stay with them. We are pleased to have made the right choice. Our trip were perfect as planned. It would have been too much hassle if staying inside Venice. Lovely clean hotel and breakfast was nice continental We were happy with our stay, Our hired car parked was at the front of the hotel where they can watch it all the time for a charge of 5 euro all day. Good value.

The staff is extremely rigid n stiff. People are not very welcoming too mechanical. The hotel rooms were tiny but clean. The television is v small n very difficult to use as no remote in the room and the TV is very highly placed. I don't recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Don't use this hotel

Club Hotel is really a wonderful hotel and I would strongly recommend it for its ambiance and lovely staff. Property is very well maintained and clean. Every corner of the building was artistically decorated and looked beautiful. My room was lovely and had a comfortable bed with spotless bed sheets, great pillows and beautiful washroom. Food and services of the staff both were great.

The hotel is located very far from the central station and the bus frequency is not good, the last bus from Venice to reach the hotel is at 8.45,take a bus to treggialo.

The staff of the hotel is crisp but very rude, breakfast is not good at all.

Rooms are small but clean, our linen was also nice and neat.

In the hospitality business it is the people who make th difference, our room phone was not working and the man at th reception was very rude is responding to our request for rev remote and phone issue.

The TV inside the room is located very high and gives a neck sprain after a while, rooms are small too.

Club Hotel Venice .20 minuite transfer from marco polo (VCE) airport approx 50 euros.
Rooms ,clean & tidy but a bit dated some have fridges & it is worth a visit to the supper market 150 metres to the right of the hotel & stock up as there is no food served in the evening unless you venture out which is what we did average cost of a sit down meal 3 pizza 1 pasta 4 drinks 75 euros,(this is not a cheap place)
Food breakfast continental & choice of 3 cerials , Staff are freindly & speak broken english
There is a tobaconist 100 metres from the hotel that will sell you your bus pass each day I found that 1 way bus pass for 4 adults was 5.60 euros which can be used to go into venice & the trip takes 40 minuites when you get on the bus swipe the card in front of small screen to validate it. after a long day in venice we got a taxi back as the bus numbers are hard to work out the taxi cost 25 to 35 euros

Room Tip: if you stop here a fridge is a must ,

We were due to stay in this hotel upon arrival at Marco Polo airport. Unfortunately the airport was closed due to severe weather and, after spending four hours, waiting at the airport our flight was cancelled. I immediately contacted the hotel to let them know of the problem and the next day I e-mailed to explain the situation. I asked if we could re-book as it was not our fault that we didn't arrive. The hotel did not entertain the idea at all (the hotel we were staying in Venice itself were quite happy to offer us an alternative booking) and simply replied that we could book a new date anytime we wanted by using the website.

It was very disappointing that the hotel was not helpful in our situation and when we go to Venice again next month we will stay elsewhere. I hope they will realise the bad feeling their decision has made and the loss of revenue as we have business in Venice and visit every two months!

Booked this hotel for four nights with flights from East midlands for myself and two friends through Low cost holidays.we were not told that there would be a charge of a extra two euro a night each for city tax's we were later informed that most hotels in Venice do this. When we were dropped of in Mestre by Barzi bus service we did not know how to get to the hotel eventually after going to the train station asking everyone we saw a kind bus driver directed us across the road to catch bus H2 when you see Lidl supermarket on your right press the bell and stand up and club Hotel is on your left across the road.Just check that the bus H2 runs on a Sunday. You can catch the bus direct in to Venice out side the hotel or if you go in to Mestre catch bus 2. We bought a three day pass from the little shop down the road from the hotel it cost 35 euro and well worth every penny. The staff were very friendly and helpful the room was clean and the beds were comfortably, well mine was i had the single one, my friends had to share a double bed. Breakfast was good.It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room or to be able to buy a warm drink when we came in after a day tramping around Venice .There is not a lot around the hotel we did go once to the bar restaurant down the road which was ok but this did close early. We went to Lidl's for drinks and nibbles for our room. What we paid and for what we wanted i would use the Hotel again
