This hotel was very nice. The location was perfect. It is located on the main land about 10 min either way to Venice central or Marco Polo Airport. The bus stop is just outside the door. The hotel offers a large variety of breakfast foods to choose from. It has a beautiful pool and a very nice gym. They also offer shuttle to and from Mestre train station and Airport for a fee (well worth it to me). The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay here if I get to visit Venice again.

Room Tip: I had booked 4 rooms for a large family trip and all the rooms were great.

We stayed at this hotel twice and loved it. Conveniently situated on the mainland between Marco Polo Airport and the old city (10 min either way), it was easily accessible by public transit - the bus (ACTV) stop was right outside the front entrance. The decor was richly textured and well thought though: contemporarily minimalistic, vibrant, cool and yet intimate. Muted earthy brown, tree bark beige with eye-popping green and orange. The guest room was clean and spacious according to European standard. The bathroom has ample counter space, bidet, large glass wall shower stall and North American type outlet for electric shaver (110V flat-pin plug). The firmness of the bed was adjustable. The reception staffs were very helpful, courteous and gave lots of good travel advice and suggestions. You can buy public transportation (land and water bus) tickets and day pass right at the front reception. The included buffet style breakfast offered good selections, completed with standard continental items and local fares. That said, their croissant was a disappointment - while better than most North American hotels it fell short comparing to European standard. They were freshly baked and flakey, but lacked the buttery favour and airiness in the middle. Their coffee was also inconsistent. My wife had to ask them for a new cup of cappuccino as hers tasted anything but coffee. At our second stay we ran into an unpleasant incident: malfunctioning of air conditioner and the ceiling light - we could not keep AC running (with room key plugged in place) and then the ceiling light at the hallway could not be switched off. They had the engineer looked at it but was not able to rectify it. It was frustrating as all were controlled and integrated with the entrance key card system. The next day the hotel manager (Christina) apologized to us and offered to refund the room charge and gave us free shuttle to the airport. That exemplified the best customer service one can find - when things go wrong and beyond human control, they made good on their satisfaction guarantee and service promise. We highly recommend this property. Mark this hotel on you next trip to Venice.

Stayed here post cruise. We arrived at 8:30 in the morning - well before stated check-in - and were greeted with friendly smiles and the option to store our luggage for free while we went into Venice. We were also given the wifi codes and the option to use the pool right away.

The room was very well appointed, modern, comfortable and clean.

Be aware that the number 5 bus that takes you to and from Venice gets very full at times. In addition, I would not recommend taking the Number 5 bus to the airport. The hotel shuttle at 14 Euros is a much more comfortable option, especially since you would need to lug your bags up and down the overpass stairs to reach the bus.

We arrived at the hotel on June 7 and stayed for 3 nights here. We have a room with a great view to the pool, other than this, nothing seems to be working properly. The first night after we finished shower, the bathroom is flooded with water coming out from the shower. We didn't bother to report this to the reception as we are too tired after driving in from Florence and cleaned it ourselves.
When it happened again the second night, we report it straight away to the front desk where there is a female receptionist and a male receptionist who seemed to be the manager. My husband took a photo of the bathroom floor filled with water and show it to the female receptionist who responded with a look of not believing us. She did not apologize on behalf of the hotel which is very unprofessional. Instead she just said she will send someone to take a look of it. She also explained what happened to the male manager in Italian, but again the male manager neither responded to us nor take any notice at all, instead he just said a few words to her and walked away without any apology to us. On the next evening when we came back from Venice and asked if the leakage has been fixed in the bathroom, the same female receptionist keep arguing that it is not a leakage but something else but didn't say it has been fixed or not. And of course later we found out that it is still not fixed yet. Still no apology from anyone in the office. Later on the same night, our air conditioning even went off! We called the front desk and they sent someone to take a look at it but cannot fix it! And no one offer to change room for us or take notice of us at all. As of now, we are still stuck in this non-air conditioned room in the summer of Venice.
We have always been a fan of Hilton and stayed with them in many other countries but this is by far the worst experience I have had with staff from this Hilton!

First impression can always set the tone for how the rest of your stay goes. I am sorry, I did not get the name of the front desk receptionist who served us. He was excellent, polite, friendly, service orientated. Every time I saw him, he was smiling and eager to help out the guests.. Was very helpful in providing directions on how to use the bus system to get to downtown Venice. The rooms were clean, spacious, plenty of towels. The beds comfortable, air conditioner was quiet, high speed internet with ability to print files through the business center. The location was ideal for visits to Venice without the high hotel prices in Venice. The bus stop is in front of the hotel and 10 minute ride to city center. The hotel sells tickets for the canal boats and bus. In addition, they will make arrangements for airport pickup and delivery for a reasonable fee, half of a cab fare. Very pleased with my whole stay and the service received. Also have a laundry available to wash and dry clothes which came in handy after having traveled for a week. Most of the staff spoke English

We stayed at this hotel to start our wonderful 10 day vacation in Italy. It is a clean, modern hotel with a great friendly desk staff that also speaks English. The location is convenient to the airport and a bus stop right outside that takes you straight across the bridge to Venice in about 5-8 minutes (bus #5 and #19). The hotel staff helped us in making a wise decision in purchasing the bus and water taxi ticket with unlimited on and off while we stayed for two days. The spacious rooms are clean and the beds were very comfortable. Dining at the hotel was a little expensive just like most hotels. We made a good decision in choosing this hotel with a reasonable price verses a Venice hotel and taking a chance of having to lug suitcases up and down steps. This hotel is also close to the Mestre train station and you can pay a reasonable price for the shuttle offered by the hotel, but you will need to book in advance. We would recommend this hotel and would say early May is a perfect time to visit Italy.

Hilton Garden Inn Venice

Stayed here based upon Trip Advisor Reviews and did not disappoint - had communicated with the hotel prior to arrival and arranged the hotel shuttle to pick us up via their van at the training station. Recommend doing so if you have large bags as we did as we were going on a cruise. Hotel rooms were very nice, beds comfortable and wifi is fast - breakfast buffet is very large and if an Honors member also complimentary. There is a bus stop right outside which takes guests directly to Venice which is 6 kilometers away....so if staying multiple days ini Venice may want to consider a hotel on Venice as there seemed to be many and very quaint.

Cost of the bus ride was approx 2 euros per person and many guests were using it. We arranged a shuttle ride to the cruise ship and the cost was $10 euros and was based upon the number of persons in the shuttle and we had 6 people. The hotel staff arranged it for us and put the charge on our room bill....recommend this if going to the cruise ship as they will drop you off right where you drop off your luggage. And also the bus seemed quite crowded so trying to get luggage on will be a challenge.

A very good hotel choice if you desire to stay in Hilton and will not be spending multiple days in Venice.....seemed to be the persons staying on the weekend were cruise passengers either getting on or off the ship.
