Brilliant hotel.
Just on the out skirts of the city (approx 10 mins by bus).
Rooms nice and clean and modern.
Pool was nice as you don't usually get a pool on a city break, again it was very clean.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Free wifi.
Bus stop right outside, get bus 5 or 19 to get into Venice city.
Highly recommended, will defo stay there again on our next visit.

Thank Pcastley

Our stay at the hotel was very much a hit and a miss. The good things were the reception staff; the room; the facilities; free wifi with good connection speed; the convenient location - but all of these were let down by the poor service that we received in the restaurant - particularly during breakfast.
We had just finished a cruise and arrived at the hotel at 11.30am. The hotel was quite busy so we were unable to check in, but the very efficient reception staff took our details, we were a party of 11 people, stored all of our luggage; and then gave us some towels so that we could make good use of the lovely pool and do a bit of sunbathing. Whilst enjoying the glorious Venetian weather we decided to have a snack in the poolside restaurant. At first we couldn't find any staff so presumed that they were now closed. Eventually we spotted some staff so decided to grab a drink and a snack. There were 2 waiters who were busying themselves stocking up the outside bar. So I stood and waited whilst they carried out their chores - during which time they completely ignored me. After about 5 minutes of being ignored I thought that maybe they weren't open so enquired if they were still doing snacks. Surprise, surprise they were!! Very poor, and the restaurant service didn't get any better
The rooms eventually became available just before 2pm and the actual check in was seamless. The reception staff also proved to be very helpful in giving information about the local bus service and things to do in nearby Venice.
The room itself was very modern and completely met our needs. We didn't dine at the hotel on the first evening instead choosing to eat at a local pizzeria.
After a good night's sleep in the very comfortable bed we headed for the restaurant for breakfast. What a contrast in service to that provided by the reception staff. On entering the restaurant we were initially ignored and when a member of staff eventually showed us to a table we were not asked what drink we wanted or even the dining options. We had to ask for coffee a further 2 times before we received any. This was a recurring theme on the other two mornings that we had breakfast.
After breakfast we all headed off to Venice. We bought a 36 hour bus/water bus pass that cost €25 - very good value for money. The bus stop is immediately outside the hotel and there is a choice of 2 buses that take you into the Pizzale Roma - from there you can either catch the water buses or explore Venice on foot. Be aware that on the return journey the bus also stops outside the hotel but across a dual carriageway. To get to the hotel you have to use a footbridge. The bridge is quite high and this may prove difficult for people with mobility problems.
We spent a fantastic day in Venice seeing some the major sites that this beautiful city has to offer. We eventually arrived back at the hotel shortly after 4pm and then spent a couple of ours sitting beside the large pool and having the occasional dip to cool off.
As it was my birthday we decided to eat in the restaurant. The staff were very good and gave me a complimentary bottle of Asti, a liitle present and a birthday card. The food was nice if not exceptional.
The following day we further explored Venice visiting Murano and Lido and were very disappointed when our short visit came to an end. As we had 2 heavy cases we decided to book the hotel shuttle. This cost €14 per room, so was quite reasonable.
Despite the poor restaurant service we still enjoyed our stay in the hotel. This could become a very good hotel if the restaurant staff possessed the same customer care skills that can be found in the reception.

Room Tip: Choose a room at the back of the hotel to avoid the noise polution from the nearby dual carriageway

We decided on this hotel because it was on mainland (didn't want to drag suitcases over narrow streets in Venice) and we like Hilton brand. First let's start how to get there- we arrived on the train from Florence. You could either get off at Santa Lucia station or Mestre station. The cab ride from the 2nd choice is about 22-25 euros & is clearly a rip-off since the hotel is about 4 km away. There is a bus #15 and also #9 that stop right outside the hotel from the Mestre station (1.30 euro)-the stop is called Orlandia. You can check the bus schedule outside the hotel. The staff is very helpful; they also sell bus tickets as well as bus passes+water taxi tickets. The #5, 9, and 19 buses run (each has a different schedule)4 or so times per hour. They stop services from Venice between 10 pm and midnight. The hotel is easy to spot from the bus since it's located by a Nissan dealership and next to a glass covered walkway. The ride to Venice is about 20-25 min depending on the traffic. It's the bus' last stop.
The bus system in Italy is very good and buses run on schedule. Be aware that you need to validate your tickets (saw a group of American kids getting a fine-not a pretty picture) once aboard & also call your stop.
The hotel itself has a nice large pool. Its location is a bit strange but overall we had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and has some American standards like a waffle maker etc. The room was large and new; reminded me more of a standard Double Tree room elsewhere in Europe.

Room Tip: hotels.com had a great deal on this hotel but we booked 3 months in advance

This hotel is a great choice for staying in Venice. Yes it is on the mainland, but its just a 10 minute bus ride from Pizzale Roma and costs £1 per ticket. The bus stops are directly outside the hotel. From Pizzale Roma take bus route 5 which is every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 at night. The stop for the hotel is the second stop out of Venice. The hotel sell bus tickets and provide you with a handy map with all the bus times on the back - perfect.

The rooms are super modern, quiet and spacious which is the opposite of most hotels in Venice itself. Unfortunately some other guests decided to slam doors as they left at 4:30am but that is not the hotels fault. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud, so comfy.

The only negative I have is that when the maids start cleaning in the morning they make a lot of noise, they drag furniture across the floors of other rooms and this does disturb your peace and sleep if you are trying to get some rest in the day. They need to lift and not drag furniture.

The staff are super friendly, fun and nice to deal with. All of them. They were just so happy to help and genuinely wanted to please. No question was too much bother.

The breakfast is great - wide selection of hot and cold food on offer and a DIY waffle station. The coffee is fantastic.

The pool area is lovely, lots of space, 25 metre long pool, nice sun loungers and pool bar open all day with nice music playing.

We took advantage of the hotel shuttle to the airport - €14 per room (not per person) and 15 minutes in a comfy minibus booked to suit your timings. The local buses to the airport can be packed and hot so choose the hotel shuttle for a better experience all round.

Save money and get a fantastic hotel to boot - stay here for Venice!

We would stay here if we ever got to go back to Venice. Convenient to the airport, but easy to catch a bus to the canals. As someone else said, great base spot for Venice. Friendly, clean, modern, restaurant was convenient. Stayed here for sightseeing after a cruise. Near airport, not near canal. But access to a city bus to canals made it simple. Recommend unless you want to be right on the Grand Canal.

Green Features: Met several lovely people before dinner, by the pool! A wonderful place to stop. Not quaint, not funky, just a good, solid hotel with all modern conveniences.

Nice hotel. Nice location. I will suggest visitors to stay in this hotel rather than any hotel in Venice island. Good ambiance. Nice rooms. Excellent swimming pool. As an Indian vegetarian, food is not of my taste. But understood
