Only one night (thanks God) The staff is nice when you check in, the internet works good and its easy to log in. The bed was terrible and the air conditioning very weak. In summer the air conditioning is totally necessary in Mestre. The location is very good, few steps from the bus station to go to the airports and from the main train station of Mestre.
My room was double but not big, i also have problems finding the electricity plugs around the room. It was very very clean.
In the hotel you do not have any option to buy drinking water. The guy said that the tap water was potable but the taste was disgusting, so I advice you to buy water before checking in. The breakfast was limited, not eggs or fresh fruits, but at least you can have it in a nice terrace.

The hotel is only 5 min walk to the railway station and only 2 min walk to the bus stop (I recommend to take train instead of bus as train is cooler and fewer ppl). The staff is helpful and room is clean and tidy. Hotels on the island are much more expensive, so I feel Hotel Regit is a smart choice. Only one I could complain, the place for shower in the bathroom is quite small. Very easy to touch the wall when you are taking shower.

The hotel is a good budget choice for visiting Venice. Very close to the bus station and only 20 min to Piazzale Roma. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great in a wonderful green garden. We took the taxi from Treviso airport to the hotel, as we were 4 persons, and was 63 euros, but when we left we took the bus and was only 10 euros/person.

The hotel looks nicely from outside, when you reach it passing a not really nice environment around Mestre FS - but there is heavy construction work, so the environment could improve. Most surprising was the "BROKEN" coffee machine for breakfast, which served clean hot water instead of coffee. One could complain, and get a good espresso form the maid, but - one cup, after some waiting. The machine was "BROKEN" since days, I guess - it simply needed coffee, because it made some average chocolate drink.
True that some guests would take a number of cups and stay in the garden outside, which looks nice. Rooms are also recently renovated.
The hotel charges a top-season tourist tax. It does not provide even a simple map of the closest environment, which never happened in any hotel I have been before. The nearest Tobacco shop which sells bus tickets (recommended by hotel staff) and 72hours passes for Venice is used to tourists - I got albanian coins as refund. Well, my advice - find a better located hotel even if somewhat away from the Mestre main station.

The hotel is in a good location to explore Venice. The train station is very near and the bus stops in the street. The rooms were ok; had to kill some mosquitos though. There's no balcony.

The breakast we had was the best we had on our trip through Italy. I have read some people call it basic. I guess it is, but to Italian standards you're getting spoiled.

Upon arrival we were to early to enter the room and were told we could leave the luggage in the hotel. However they have no luggage room. The luggage is just put in a corner of the lobby. Anyone could just reach it. I went to ask again if there was really no way to put the luggage on a more secure place but nope ... .

When going to ask for a map of Venice I was told it costed 2 euros. Not once in my entire life I ever had to BUY a map at a hotel desk. That's basic service, no?

All in all: average hotel in a good location.

The bus and train station are only 150 metres away, and the tram stop is outside the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast was basic but enjoyable. The maid cleaned the room everyday, and there is a nice conservatory at the rear of the hotel which is adjacent to a small patio area with parasols and foilage and plants.
All of the staff were very helpful, and they sell a really useful map of Venice and Metre for only 2 Euros. We will return!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent location just outside of Venice. Bus less than a block away and the parking down the street was safe reasonable. Family rooms were very comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby too.
