An excellent base for trips in and around Venice. An easy-to-find express coach from the airport goes directly to Mestre station (for €5), and from there, it is a simple 10 min walk along the street directly opposite the station to find the hotel. A bus to Venice is just around the corner from the hotel and leaves every 10 mins. Tickets can be purchased from reception and a map of Venice is provided. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet and the WLAN functioned without any problems. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - well above the call of duty. Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Shower is possibly a little bit small for larger or taller people, but was perfectly OK for my size.

If you need good rest and be close to Venice- go for it!
Very friendly personnel, clean rooms, close to railway station and bus to Venice.
Adequate price compared to the prices in Venice.

I would classify this hotel as a B&B only. The room is very small. The bathroom is tiny, almost impossible to take a shower. The breakfast is ok, considering it is free. Although it is more expensive, i would stay in Venezia next time.

We flew in and stayed here for one night so we could pickup the MSC Cruise ship the next day. The room was very clean and comfortable. Air condition worked fine. Bathroom was very nice and clean. The shower was quite small. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection. The hotel building was in very good condition and the interior decor was done up nicely. I believe the woman who checked us in ran the hotel too. She helped bring our luggage up to the second floor and showed us our room. She also was at breakfast making sure everything was in order. The hotel was just off the main street in a quiet area. It's a little walk from the train station but worth it. There are some restaurants close by. Ristorante S. Marco is a restaurant we ate at twice located on the main street. Overall we were very happy with this hotel.

When visiting Venice it is unlikely that one would spend too much time in the hotel or would try out its meals. We were driving to Venice from Florence and wanted a hotel which had secure parking for our rather expensive borrowed car and at the same time provided easy access to Venice.
Hotel Cris turned out to be great in all respects. The staff - or the one person of the staff that we ever did meet was exceptionally friendly and helpful with the checking in, advice on Venice and we also bought our public transport tickets at the hotel itself.
Internet was free and so was the parking which is in a compound accessed by a gate on the side.
Buses to Venice leave from just about a couple of hundred metres away. In the morning when we left the reception was unattended but we had been briefed on how to leave and also open the gate to the parking.
The only two problems we faced were in hauling our luggage up a flight of stairs and also had some trouble in getting to the hotel despite satellite navigation in the car - because the street in front of the hotel is a one way and to get to the hotel one has to come in a slightly complicated manner.
