“Introduction to Sicily”
Reviewed 26 November 2013

Stayed only one night, but found the B & B conveniently located for looking around Milazzo before catching a hydrofoil to Aeolian Islands. Arrived late from the mainland but Marco was obliging and helpful with nearby recommendations for dinner. Although we had booked a room we were given the apartment which was extremely spacious and would have been comfortable for a longer stay. It did look as if it had been vacant for a while, however, and the shower needed a fresh clean to remove some mould. There was some street noise and traffic on a busy weekend night, though that did not bother us.
Breakfast vouchers at a bar (which had great pastries and coffee plus friendly service and which was very popular with local customers) was convenient as we could choose the time to suit us.

We came to Milazzo on our way to Stromboli and just called on short notice when we found this place if there was a room available. Very friendly and family style B&B. Marco (owner) also let us park the car in his backyard while we spent one day on Stromboli! Breakfast was easy available next door in the English Bar with a voucher.

We've accidentally found this charming place between Porto and old town in Milazzo and were absolutely astonished with generous and stylish room with en suite bathroom and... own terrace for romantic evening with a bottle of wine. Marco, the owner, who speaks fluent English made us feel like at home and provided useful advice for our further trip to Eolian Islands.
However you will need to call him (number on the door) as he is not always there.
It's just a few minutes walk from Porto and what's equally important, it's affordable for people on a budget.

Highly recommended! rav & jo

Room Tip: We had a room from the courtyard side and it was superb. I'm not sure about other rooms i.e faci...

We stayed at b&b for two nights en route from Palermo to Taormina. The owner Marco was very helpful and speaks english very well;because we did not travel with a car,he gave us a drive in Milazzo and then he drived us to the bus station. He was really a friend. The rooms have free wi-fi, private bathroom, large beautiful terrace and citrus garden. The b&b is only 10 minute walk to the port. I higlly recommend to stay more than two nights. We want to go back next summer.

We arrived in Milazo late at night, only expecting to stay one night as a launching point to go to the Aeolian Islands. Marco, the owner, saw us with our huge backpacks and approached us asking if we needed a B&B and we immediately trusted him. He beat the price of any other accommodation. The room was immaculate and well situated next to both entertainment and beach. The room was cleaned every day and we had breakfast at a cafe included with our stay.

The room had a lovely private bathroom, a beautiful terrace and citrus garden, parking and excellent decor and comfortable bed. It is right across from Piazza di Roma, less than 5 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to a night happening area called Il Borgo, and 5-10 minute walk to the castle.

Marco was so knowledgeable of the local establishments, and was almost like a personal tour guide for not only Milazzo but all of Sicily. we will go back to Milazzo and Libertyinn in a heartbeat!

Although we were backpacking we will return here with our family, as he has many options to offer and will accommodate all types.

Room Tip: Quiet and beyond expectations. Stay in Milazzo and enjoy all it has to offer, it is much much more t...

Someone from Milazzo advised us to stay at Lbertyinn and that was a great idea. The room has a terrace, seperated bathroom, air-con and the owner (Marco) who speaks english very well (he lived in NYC) has been very helpfull with us.
I highly recommend you stay more than one night in Milazzo as Capo Milazzo, the area around the castle and restaurants (Casalinga and U pignataru) in Milazzo are worth seeing and experiencing them.
