A very very late review.
I actually visited in April 2015 with national holidays 5 day tour. A taste of Italy.
The hotel itself is in the town of montecatini terme, which has many many hotels. A good 10 minute walk from the very centre of town.
As we collected our keys from reception we were each given a small piece of paper with the hotel name, address, phone number printed on it. Very useful if one got lost. I was very careful not to get lost while exploring the town. The town itself is lovely, the weather was fortunately fine with temp in lower 20s C.
The room itself was more than adequate from a cheap holiday.

Dining room !! One family of four ate one day here then told us that they were eating in nearby restaurant from then on.
The meals were rather small and we had to specify the day before what we wanted for the following evening. Meat with spinach. Turned out to be a lovely mixed grill, very tasy. Downside was only six small chips on each plate. So small meal and many guests left much behind on plate.
A wonder around the town was enjoyable. The area near hotel was safe. Up the road I found an open air market. The streets were clean and near the centre a small funfair for children ( a good landmark. To find right road back to hotel). Plenty of restaurants. Generally the town was pleasent and peaceful with many people out for an evening walk and many shops open after 6pm.
It was a good central location for visiting Pisa and Florence. But a 4 hour coach trip each way to get to Rome. Be warned.

Stayed here for 4 nights with a coach trip. Had a room on 2nd floor. Basic but comfy room. Bathroom long and narrow but had good powerful shower.
Room was cold for first two nights but then heating was turned on and it was fine. Not very soundproof, could hear people talking in the next room. Really comfortable beds. Small , old fashioned tv but as we didn't use it this wasn't an issue. Very clean room. Good maid service, clean towels daily. Safe available for ten Euro deposit.
Hand rail on staircase was loose and wobbly. Hotel has a small lift.
Lobby area, modern and clean. Comfy chairs . Free WiFi available throughout the hotel although signal is weak in some places.
Breakfast is basic but adequate. Evening meals ok but nothing special.
Bar serves good variety of drinks and the free bar included in the trip was good.

Hotel is modern downstairs lobby etc, bedrooms need up dating but clean and roomy we even had a fridge in ours bonus !!Breakfasts are plain and dull, evening meal was just as bad.Montecatini is a lovely place with plenty of bars and places to eat all at reasonable prices. For what we paid for the hotel could not really expect any more.Watch out for the mosquitoes/midges there everywhere !Hotel staff are lovely at the front desk but in the dinning room hmmmmm not much I can say about them other than rude ! overall not to much to complain about.
