My girlfriend and I stayed at this beautiful agritourismo in early march and loved every second we were there. Giacomo and his family could not have been more accommodating. They made us feel as if we were staying with family. We arrived early and took a cooking class with giacomo and his wife who taught us how to make homemade pasta and roast rabbit. Everything is extremely fresh and local. It was an experience we will not soon forget and we will plan to visit ale Caggiole each time we return to Italy! Bravo!

We stayed here for Valentine's day weekend. It was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The cook provided us a fresh homemade breakfast every morning. Wonderful experience and close driving distance to many of the site's Tuscany has to offer. Wonderful getaway!

My husband and I went to Le Caggiole with different expectations. The location was breathtaking. We rented a car from Florence and the drive wasn't too bad. When we arrived we learned that the internet or phone wasn't working due to a storm. So we couldn't make any reservations at the spa or nearby restaurants. The room was nice, with a small stand up shower. The town is very close, which was convenient. Breakfast was an arrangement made of cookies, coffee, cereal and fruit. We were the only guests, so I supposed they didn't offer the cooking class or dinner. Overall, it was a beautiful place to stay the night.

Room Tip: We chose Lo Stalliere. The view was so amazing. The bed is a two twin beds pushed together. I would...

We recently returned to le Caggiole for our second visit. The gracious hospitality of the Martinelli family along with Ornella's art of Tuscan cooking brought us back to this charming agriturismo. Its prime location outside of Montepulciano makes it easy to visit sites in Tuscany with Giacomo's kind guidance, and the views of the fields surrounding the property are enchanting. We will return.

My wife and college age daughter and I stayed here in October 2013. It was probably our favorite place we stayed during 10 days in Tuscany. It is on an olive farm 2 km down the road from Montepulciano. The town was maybe 5 minutes drive away. Giacamo runs the place and could not have been nicer. His mother cooked a fantastic breakfast the next morning as well. The views from our bedroom window were spectacular. We went to a closeby restaurant that was one of our favorites after his recommendation as well. The bathroom facilities were top notch as well.

Room Tip: get an upstairs room for better views

We were visiting Caggiole in August 2013. We had a lovely room with old style furniture and a renovated bath. The view into the valley each morning was spectacular. We enjoyed the home made cakes and fresh fruit for breakfast and had as well the opportunity to take a cooking class with Nonna on how to do fresh Pici pasta. Giacomo and his family were very helpful with providing tips for sightseeing
The location itself is a great starting point for trips to Montepulciano, Montalcino etc.
They also offer small condos with kitchens, this might be something for out next stay!
All in all a very good money and comfort deal.

Giacomo was extremely kind and excellent at communicating via email prior to our arrival. Bed was comfortable, space was very clean. Difficult to find because the sign is after the turn and it's right on the road so there is a lot of traffic noise at night - but the location is great. We didn't realize that there would be breakfast but it was mostly sweet things (cakes, cookies, yogurt) there was fruit but it felt like a lot of sugar and carbohydrates. Giacomo cooked us a very nice dinner with tons of food. My only disappointment was that he didn't sit down and eat with us! I highly recommend.
