We had a family holiday here in July 2011. This was the scene for the perfect family reunion for our extended family - my parents and 2 brothers and their wives and kids (5 children in total). We were after a place that could accommodate a mix of adults and children with room to spend time together while having the option of having space to retreat for some time out. The Villa was perfect in every way.
We mostly self catered and the kitchen was well setup and easy to use for a large group. On the first night we had the catered dinner with the visiting chef. The food was great and we had a ball. A great way for the first night whilst settling in.
The house is in the middle of the beautiful Tuscan hill towns and there was plenty to do and see. It felt like we landed in the middle of a dream. We had 4 cars between us which allowed us to explore the wider area during the day and come and go. We also visited Sant' Albino by foot.
I honestly could not recommend this place highly enough. It was clean and spacious but also homely and warm. The owners are lovely and are friendly and welcoming. They have renovated this farmhouse themselves and have done a beautiful job. It has personal touches that reflect their style, passion and love for what they do. The pool is gorgeous too. There are plenty of spaces to spend time in - both inside and out .
We just had a wonderful time for our stay here and I will treasure the memories forever. It was a truly wonderful once-in-a lifetime experience.
