“We loved it Again!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

We returned to Agriturismo Nobile for the 2nd time with our 3 kids (now 11, 13 and 15) and it was just as wonderful as 2 years ago. It really has everything that we would ever want in an accommodation choice (apartment) and a fantastic location!

Room Tip: Stay in an apartment facing the pool

We just returned from staying 6 amazing days at Agriturismo Nobile and can not recommend it enough. Stefano, his wife, son and their staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as close to perfect as possible. I have to call out staff member, Anna, in particular. She stayed in constant contact with us leading up to our trip with beautifully written emails detailing the apartment we would be staying in, weather conditions, suggestions on what to do while we there and helping to secure our extra activities. On the night of our scheduled arrival, she stayed late at the agriturismo to be sure to greet us personally. I felt like we had a friend in Tuscany the moment we arrived.
The apartment - We stayed in a lovely 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment called Il Pollaio. It had a master bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with 2 single beds, as well as a living area, fully equipped kitchen/dining area and bathroom. There is also a patio area out front, that overlooks the beautiful swimming pool, as well. The whole place is covered in the blooms of roses, lavender, jasmine, hydrangeas, etc. and has an amazing view of Tuscany. It is a working farm, so there are also vineyards, olive trees and plenty of fruit trees, as well (we had fresh fruit from their trees every morning). It's so beautiful there, words do not do it justice.
There is also a restaurant there, where they serve breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a large variety of fresh cakes/tarts/pies, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, bread, nutella, meats and cheeses, fresh squeezed juice and the best cappuccino I have ever had. We never left hungry.
Dinner is an even better experience, with 5+ courses and wine (for €25 per person). We literally lost count of the courses and had to cry uncle before finishing. Everything is made fresh for each family once you walk through the door. We started with a variety of bruschetta, then move onto a large plate of meats and cheeses. Our primi piatti was homemade pasta with ragu sauce. Our secondi piatti was perfectly cooked steak and side dish. All of this was followed by salad, then fresh watermelon as a palate cleanser, then finally dessert of either gelato or tiramisu with coffee or cappuccino. Everything was delicious a served proudly by the owner Stefano.
While there, we took a cooking class (a very reasonable €55 per person, that also included our meal after with wine). Stefano brought in a local pasta legend who taught us how to make and roll delicious pasta. We then went into the kitchen with Stefano's wife and learned to make 3 different bruscettas and tiramisu and how to properly cook the fresh pasta we'd just rolled. After the lesson, we went straight to the dining room to enjoy the food we'd just learned to make. I highly recommend doing this class with them.
I honestly could go on and on about our time here. It was absolute perfection and out of all of the places we stayed while in Italy, this is the one I plan to return to in the future.

we stayed for 1 night during the last weekend of may. we arrived at Agriturismo Nobile late afternoon.. the location is near by montepulciano 5 min drive on the main street making it easy to find. he decided to stay at Agriturismo Nobile because of the location and also the review. Agriturismo Nobile has a large garden and you can view the montepulciano from the property. the owner kindly insist that we leave our car and he would offer a drop off and pick up service to montepulciano. he dropped us at one of the gates of montepulciano and picked us up at the same time whenever we were ready to leave. it tooked only 5 mins after a phone call. Agriturismo Nobile has 3 main buildings. the one we stayed were the main building including the check in office, restaurant therefore you can hear a bit of noise during the late night when people are having dinner. the owner took us around Agriturismo Nobile showing us the rest of the property and the wine yards. the property itself is very big. i think it's better for those that are staying long term 1-2 months that also can use the swimming pool.
our room was smaller than i thought but it was very clean. they also offered olive body wash and soap, hair dryer and fridge. i would highly recommend those that are traveling short time visiting montepulciano for the weekend.

We had such a wonderful stay here in the quiet countryside. We stayed in the L'Oliveto building in the Rosa room and it was quite comfortable and spacious, very clean and quiet and just steps away from the breakfast room/restaurant. Breakfast every morning was delicious and substantial, with several different freshly baked breakfast sweets to choose from, as well as local cheeses and meats. We also ate dinner at the restaurant one night and enjoyed eating local specialties.
But best of all was the warm and helpful atmosphere created by Stefano and his family. We only regret that we couldn't have stayed longer. Thank you, Stefano, for your kindness and making us feel so welcome. We'll be back!

Room Tip: Our room with the window on the back side of L'Oliveto was away from the road, so it was very qu...

We stayed in Il Contadino within Agriturismo Nobile, the apartment was spacious, clean and beautiful. The grounds were so beautiful it was surreal...the pool area, plants, trees, just everything was spectacular! We took a wonderful cooking class (4 adults and 2 kids) at the agriturismo with Stefano, which was one of the highlights of our trip. We all enjoyed every minute of our time here and I am sure you will, too.

We stayed here with our 3 kids ages 9, 11 and 13 and loved every minute of it! We had stayed a couple of nights at another agriturismo north of Florence which we did not like, and fortunately, when searching frantically for another place to stay (24 nights in Europe with 1 full week for Tuscany), Nobile had a cancellation for their 3 bedroom apartment! We immediately loved it! It was everything I could have asked for for a Tuscan stay and more. The father/son that run it are so nice and hospitable (limited English.) We swam and relaxed by the beautiful pool (met some nice families from all over Europe), walked through the vineyards/orchards, marveled at the view of Montepulciano from our bedroom window...We liked having the kitchen and there is a wonderful family owned fruit market and gourmet Tuscan takeout right down the street (in front of the grocery store.) Up the road the other way is an even better grocery store and a fantastic little bakery. We woke up early each morning and sat outside on our terrace, drinking Italian coffee. One night, we did a wine tasting, while the kids played bocce ball, which was very fun. We hope to go back next summer!
