My wife and I visited Boscarelli last April and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. They are small (only produce 100,000 bottles a year), but their Vino Nobile is among the best. After a short tour of the grounds, which included the vineyard and cellar, we sat down at a small, round, dusty table and tasted the wines. Nicolo (one of the owners) opened and poured the wines for us as we discussed them in detail. It was a very pleasant and relaxing experience and I would strongly suggest this to anyone visiting Montepulciano.
