“Very pleasant stay”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

We had an organisation in Novara, Italy. We stayed at the Hotel Europa all together about 30 people. That was a very pleasant stay with a lot of hospitality. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The breakfast was served just as needed by the customers- fresh and delicious. I especially adored Archie the dog!!! what a lovely sight for the travelers to feel themselves at home.

This hotel is just a few minutes walk to downtown, restaurants, shops, and the bus and train stations. As a female traveling alone, I felt very safe. The staff was very friendly and spoke English fluently. My room was small and the walls were a bit thin. They do not turn the AC on until June, so there is a bit of street noise if you sleep with the window open. The bed was very firm and comfortable. There was a small mini-fridge in the room and I had no problem with internet coverage or speed. Breakfast was good with healthy options and fruit as well as delicious Italian pastries. I checked out an hour late: "no problem" and no extra charge.

I travel to Italy on a regular basis for business. I have found that the Hotel Europa is a comfortable hotel to stay at with great amenities. The location is very good in that you are walking distance to shops and great dining choices in the city of Novara. The rooms are clean, they have superb internet connection, and the breakfast buffet is first class. They do not serve a traditional American breakfast (eggs and bacon) but they do have a variety of fresh fruit (doesn't matter what time of year) ham, bread, croissants, yogurt, etc. All included in the price of the stay!

But what really sets this hotel apart in my mind is the service that the staff gives to every guest. They are very helpful in recommending a place to eat, help out with directions, help in making other accomodations at other hotels outside of the area if needed, or if there is anything wrong with your room.

Some detractors would be that the decor is a little dated, there is no gym, and there is limited parking, but overall I really enjoy my stays there (2 so far, and several more in the near future). If you are going to the area for business, I would definitely recommend staying there!

This was my second business trip to Italy for me. The Hotel Europa gets an A+ from me for many different reasons. The staff is extremely accommodating, helpful and speak English which is a huge bonus. They let us use their laptop, they helped with recommendations for food, making other hotel reservations for us outside of their chain and helped with every ridiculous question we had or any silly situation we needed help with. You can't help but feel like you are in a family environment when you stay at the hotel. Just ask and they are always there to help. As for the hotel itself, it is very clean, offers everything you need to make it through your trip and even has a TV function that will convert most TV stations to English. I did not find this at the other Hilton products I have used in the country. The hotel is well located within walking distance to major shopping and eating establishments. This is a comfort for a women traveling by themselves. It was a quick and easy walk home. The hotel and staff are great. You won't go wrong staying there.

First of all staff is not that nice. Second, parking is extremely limited and staff will run you over to take over any of the guest 4 parking spots available. Strongly recommend you not to stay in this hotel with little kids, they will get sick due to the huge amount of dust in the rooms. Needless to say room are over priced for the amenities and services provided. The only thing that was decent was the breakfast, fresh pastries, fruits and good coffee. If you have no other choice then stay here but don't set your expectations too high.

The Hotel Europa Novara is the BEST hotel in Novara! We enjoyed all our stay there immensely and have been staying at this hotel every time we are there! We highly recommend it to our friends and business colleagues, whom has and continues to stay there too. If you are looking for a business meeting venue, this hotel is equipped and ready to assist. It is clean, quiet, efficient; they have a wonderful breakfast buffet with excellent coffee service. It is ideally located within easy walking distance to both the town and the train stations (for trips to Milan and other destinations). Parking is no problem as there are some stalls in front of the hotel as well as ample parking across the street. The dynamic duo and the nicest people, Lucia Lanci and Angelo, run and manage this hotel with high standards, along with their professional, friendly and very helpful staff!
