“Some great things, but mostly disappointing”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

Lets start with the great - The shuttle service to the slopes run by the extremely attentive Attilla is top notch..
The good - rooms are a good size and restaurant had good food.
The average - What you ordered not always what you got food wise, the bar area was tired.
The poor - What could be a great wellness suite was ruined by out of control kids running in & out of sauna and steam rooms, despite the no under 16 signs, and the noise they made in the relaxation area made it impossible to relax - good if you want to abondon your kids, but not good for actual relaxation.Staff passed through but ignored the problems. The ski room is not big enough when hotel busy and very tired.
The very poor, our shower provided constantly running cold water but if you wanted hot it came out at a drip, and sometimes hot water had run out in the evenings...
We went with another couple that did not get the room with bath they had paid extra for and told this could not be rectified for 24 hours, no appology either was forthcoming which would probably have been sufficient to rectify.

After reading couple of reviews of this hotel I was quite puzzled when travelling there. Let me put some explanation what we loved:
1. Ski room is not far from the hotel, it's actually 50m through garage, which may sound for some reviewer quite far esp. not having the travelator :) Ski room has heated racks for boots working 24/7.
2. Rooms are spacious - exactly to the size of 4*hotel.
3. Staff is very attentive except the bartender but this is only minor cloud on bright sky
4. Hotel services are great, esp. hotel shuttle to the ski-lifts who comes to pick you up on demand.
5. The afternoon cakes really work :) Thaks for the Apfelstrudel.
What we surprisingly did not enjoy much was the food. The reviewers probably rate the quantity more than quality. The menu is well thought but the result is average. Portions are giant having in mind 4 courses menu but far from fine dining... The wine list is in contrary great with nice prices.
Overall great value for money paid assuming all added benefits like parking in garage, shuttle service to slopes, spa, etc. Thanks and we'll come back next year.

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for one week in January. The hotel communal areas and dining room are fine, the spa is nice and we had a couple of nice massages. The rooms were ok, but not much value for money. The restaurant runs a three course traditional menu with salad, bread an dessert buffet. The food was generally tasty. Unfortunately on the last night of our stay, we were both sick of what looked like food poisoning. The members of staff were unhelpful and rude, completely careless to assist. Definitely the owners and some of the staff has a long way to go, and should start caring about their clients and have a minimum standard of professionalism. Definitely will not come back again.

The rooms are quite small compared to the similar hotels in the area, and there is no minibar in the room. The skiroom is located in the garage and not easy to find. Everyting in the hotel seemed to be saved on every penny: the holders for the skiboots were not heated enough so that in the morning the boots were cold and wet; the hairdryer in the bathroom worked in a very economical way - after a couple of minutes it died for a while, and to dry my medium-length hair took me quite a long time; even the water in the pool and jakuzzi had temperature below comfortable level. The girls at the reception were absolutely helpless. Only the restaurant provided really 4* service: we enjoyed meals there, and the waiters were very friendly and efficient.
