This is one of the most charming restaurants we have eaten at in Italy. We arrived in Orvieto planning to eat at Trattoria Grotto, but it was closed on Tuesdays. The wonderful people at our hotel, Hotel Duomo, quickly searched to find someplace else to accommodate us and recommended Antica Cantina. We did not find it in our own gluten-free searches, even though the menu actually is marked with what can be gluten free. We had various forms of pasta, along with appetizers of bruschetta and various meats. The gluten-free bread with olive oil was tasty, too. This is off the main tourist area, so it was mostly locals and us. The staff was dear and sweet and charming. We wish we were staying longer so we could eat here again.
