My wife and I stayed here for 1 night recently as we were passing through Orvieto. Giulia, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. Despite being in the centre of the old town parking was nearby and very convenient. The B&B was situated in a delightful and quiet old back street just a stone's throw away from the fabulous cathedral or Duomo. It was very tastefully decorated and furnished and there was plenty of space to hang clothes etc. The en-suite was also very roomy and had an excellent shower. Our room was on the top floor and had a Juliet balcony with tremendous views over the roof-tops and countryside beyond. The room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a continental buffet with a great choice of cereals, fruit, pastries etc. The coffee was good too.
Orvieto itself is a gem of a place, spectacularly situated on top of an extinct volcanic remnant. Definitely well worth a visit and we would have loved to have stayed longer had our itinerary permitted.
I would certainly recommend this B&B to anyone wishing to stay in Orvieto, it suited us perfectly and was good value for money.More
