I over-wintered in this cozy apartment from mid-October to mid-May. It's brilliantly located, very handy to everything but without being in the path of the waves of tourists that visit until January and after March. It's quiet. There's a lovely view from the terrace. The apartment is comfortably furnished, there are all the normal amenities (washer, drying rack, coffee maker, microwave, video, etc) plus there is a generous and interesting selection of books, DVD's and CD's. The owners are jazz fans, so if you are too, you'll feel right at home. For those who like to cook, a warning, the kitchen, while complete, has very little work space, and as it is in a separate room, it's difficult to use the table. Other than that, you have the benefit of a genuine Italian apartment with charming neighbors, and friendly cats and dogs across the street.
