We stayed 3 nights at this wonderful old village complex. We used it as a centre for walking in this part of Umbria and were pleasantly surprised that the hotel provided their own variety of walks direct from the hotel. They gave us a map and the walks themselves were signposted from start to finish. As the walk in our published book broke down half way around because a vineyard complex had been changed and some paths were overgrown this proved invaluable.
The food was incredible with bottles of red and white wine (also bottles of natural and gaseous water) included in the price of only 15 euros per head for a 4-course dinner.
The room was lovely and large and an incredible view down to the lake from just outside.

My wife has a (Dutch) cousin and wife who has been living it Italy for several years, four of us decided to take a holiday. Each time we visit there is something a little different, this was definitely it ! We drove about 40km from their home to the picturesque village of Titignano for lunch in the restaurant he explained that the meal was not to be rushed, how right. 17 courses (I lost count). It started with various pizzas all delicious then went through the lasagne, sausages, meats veg., etc., etc., etc., to the sweets. All very beautifully cooked well presented with service and atmosphere second to none, also it was being enjoyed by wedding parties. local wine was included and kept comimg as did the food dishes. Service was very friendly and efficient. It is definitely wort the slightly mountainous drive to sample such typical Italian delights and stunning scenery. Will return when we have finished digesting ! Prices were extremely reasonable.

Room Tip: Easy with the pizza starters or you won't make course 17 !

It's an old setting surrounded by vineyards and the amazing Italian scenery. What can you say - it's really beautiful! Food is good, wine is local, rooms are big and comfortable. What a wonderful place for a romantic getaway and/or inspiring solitude.

Room Tip: Any room on the second floor facing the vineyards around the corner of the inner court.

Quite remote, but worth the trip for the unique views (even nicer than Toscany).
(Too) long dinners, orgies of local food & wine. Great value for the half-board price.
Little crowded during "Ferragosto".
Only one pool is not enough during high season.
We recommend day trips to Orvieto, Perugia and Todi.
