Reading the English reviews I was a little concerned about wedding noise. However on arrival I was impressed with the make up of the hotel and the facilities on offer (I could see it is a great wedding venue). We spent 4 nights during the week, it was peaceful and we had plenty of space (weddings are mainly during weekends so a lot busier). The hotel is modern with a great pool and spa/whirl pool and the view form the roof garden is fantastic. The beach is approx 300-400m walk from the hotel (not 100m as some say). Sea was a little rough but you have a choice of hiring sun beds from reception or just walking along the beach for free if your not the sun bathing type.
The temples are a 5 minute drive away and too far to walk but really only need one day to walk around the ruins and rest of the time spent relaxing at the hotel. Apart from the ruins/temples there is not much else but it is worth the visit as part of a trip around the Salerno and Sorrento coastline. Beyond 4-5 days is too much.
Tip: On arrival I discovered that I had only paid the double rate when we booked 2 adults and 1 child so I had to pay an extra 80 euros. This is not clear on the booking sites so be aware.
