My wife and I stayed here for one night, arriving by bus from Salerno, before heading to Cosenza. It is a great place, located within a 10 minute walk of the temple entrance. It is really not like a hotel, but rather a converted grainery and villa on a peaceful, quiet road. The place is very well kept, built in the early 1900s. Our room was huge, with a large King bed, quaint old furniture, sitting benches under huge windows, and our own enclosed glass porch with French doors from our bedroom. The porch had its own entrance outside, down a flight of outdoor stairs. The bathroom was modern, with a shower stall. The grounds are spacious. When we stayed there, there were only a few other guests in the place. There did not seem to be any places nearby to have dinner, so we ate in the restaurant in the hotel. The food was well prepared, with a rather eclectic menu and on the expensive side, but it was sort of romantic, as there was only one other guest dining there, a local businessman. After dinner, we tried to take a night walk, but made it a short one---the area gets pretty deserted after dark, as it is in the country, and abuts the restoration area. If you like "spooky," with buildings that seemed to show their damages from WW II (bullet and shell holes), then you will love this area.
The breakfast in the morning, included in the room price was excellent, with juices, cereals, breads, toast, fruits, torts, and coffee. The staff was very helpful and pleasant, and even offered to have one of the maintenance & ground workers drive us to the RR station in the morning for a fraction of what a cab would have cost. While you could walk it (1 mile), we availed ourselves of the offer.
Overall, it was a great experience to stay here, and I would recommend it, as the temples are worth a stay.
