I was chaperoning my kid's field trip, and there wasn't enough room at the kids' hotel, so this one was recommended simply because of the proximity to where the kids were...
We ended up with the much nicer end of the deal. Individual bungalows, clustered around a zero entry pool, a bar (both American and Italian style) right off of the pool, plenty of chairs and tables around the pool for hanging out, drinking wine and chatting with the other parents till late in the night, with a full breakfast buffet each morning... well, it was an Italian breakfast buffet, so the selection was limited to pastries, breads, fruits... but a pretty nice spread.
About 100 yard walk down a wooden pathway to a private beach, with sun chairs reserved for hotel guests.
The rooms were simple and functional; all floors were ceramic tile, living room with 2 pull-out twin bed/chairs, bedroom with a king sized bed and a TV, bathroom with nice hot shower.
Good value for the money, and worth taking a loot at!
