We've visited La Cugna twice during our week in Tuscany as our hotel was right down the road. La Cugna is a very big resturant with 2 sections that could easily be resturants on their own: smokers and non-smokers. Make sure you tell your preference to the hostess before being seated. There is plenty of parking across the road, so don't worry about it.
La Cugna is a family resturant filled with locals. We were the only tourists there on both occassions. The locals come in with children and babies, so seek alternative venue if you're looking for a romantic dinner.
The place has an English menu for tourists and the staff knows enough words to allow you to get by. We've had several dishes there, some were quite good like the oysters first dish or pasta, and some where mediocore like the grilled pigeon or grilled rabbit. We recommend the "fruits of wood" desert that comes with ice cream, which was divine.
