“Good and bad”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2014 via mobile

Good: the beaches, the area, the views, the Food in the restaurant, the manager of the restaurant (mr bean type), the bathroom, the location

Bad: rooms are too small, especially the quadruples (not For a Family), flies on the terrace, too expensive, non flexibel non friendly management, too small Breakfast area, waiting for Breakfast table, no WiFi in the rooms. Not worth a four star ....

The hotel is located right on the waterfront with amazing beach but it is also the disadvantage of the hotel. Structure a bit outdated, the rooms are not turning to water. the staff uncomfortably trying to raise the price for the room. Just with tenacity the price drops and becomes more logical.
the beach is one of the beautiful beaches that you can find in Sardinia but be careful because the hotel's staff are trying to get more money from you for any beach chair, even if you are one of the guests . again you need to be persistent and not to pay immediately.

Room Tip: •"Higher floors have less A/C unit noise"

Place was small, but cozy. Rooms were not exuberant and lavish, but very clean and great place to unwind. Hotel and Restaurant Staff were excellent and very friendly. Food provided at hotel restaurant was easily 4.5 to 5 star. 5 course meals for dinner and a great breakfast for those who want to eat heavy in the mornings so they can spend the rest of the day at the beach. The hotel beach was very clean and people were very friendly. A grand majority of people who stay at this hotel are repeat visitors.

Room Tip: Ask for window view rooms facing the ocean.

This is a charming little family hotel with a great location. We had booked a superior room with seaview (#302) and were very satisfied. The view over the coast was fantastic. There are about five beautiful beaches within a walking distance of 5-10 minutes. The hotel also has a nice green garden with a great swimming pool. The rooms are charming but quite simple. Breakfast was nice. Beds were a bit harder then you can expect from this price level.

Room Tip: Rooms 301, 302 and 303 on the top floor has really nice sea view.

a nice and super cleaned hotel
well located with a nice and conveniente beach service
restaurant is good, great service
rooms are extremelly cleaned and generous
very good choice, probably the only missing thing is to have a sea view terrace (the one that they have is on the road)

This hotel is situated next to some of the best beaches in the Costa Smerelda. It is family run and whilst not particularly new offers friendly service and an excellent restaurant with fresh fish daily and a superb menu with dishes for all tastes. The restaurant also has a splendid sea view. The hotel is family friendly with a large clean swimming pool although we preferred to use the beautiful beaches directly outside the hotel making it very convenient for those with a young family. Overall this hotel offers excellent value and would definitely consider returning in the near future.

This is definitely a beautiful hotel if only the management could be different. The pool is beautiful and quiet and barely used. The outdoor terrace is lovely. You can walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes and it is close to Porto Cervo. The problem is with Maria the owner and the restaurant.
The restaurant is infested with flies that climb over all the food. You can't eat your meal without them landing on you. The management doesn't allow the windows to be opened in the restaurant, but didn't put the AC on. (They claimed it was on). The weather was 88 degrees while we stayed there and it was very hot in the restaurant. We had paid for half board. We were not allowed to sit near a window for a better sea view and those tables sat empty for our 4 day stay. We were told that they kept them open in case paying customers showed up. They never did. Who would come to a restaurant with flies everywhere. I noticed the last 2 days there was some sort of blue light at the entrance to the restaurant (probably for insect control).

We asked to pay for our drinks by credit card for dinner as I had read reviews about trouble with room charges. They insisted we had to go to the front desk each time and it was a big deal. We couldn't pay in the restaurant.

The hotel has a standard practice of charging unsuspecting guests 20 Euros upon departure for the remote gate opener for parking. We were able to remove it from our bill, but I suspect most guests don't understand what the charge is for as the hotel never asked for the remote back or explained the charge until we questioned it. We returned the remote opener before we left and had a new bill printed. Check out took 30 minutes as everything goes through Maria the owner. She is very unfriendly and miserable.

We wished we had stayed at a different hotel.

We picked this hotel as it was so close to the beach, but in the end we went to other beaches by car.
