Staff: unfriendly. They didn't seem to want to help us with some information about the 5 terre.
Rooms are extremely small, you can barely fit 2 people + baggage. It is old and outdated, and smelled really weird. Bed was small and hard. The balcony had a nice view, but again, so small that only one could sit outside. Too expensive for what they offer. Breakfast was disappointing. Pool was dirty. To get to the Zentrum of Porto Venere you have to walk 50-60 min or take a bus. If you're with a car, you can drive 10-15 min but parking is really expensive (2,50/h).
The only plus I have for this Hotel is the restaurant. Food was actually good, they have a selection of fresh fish for dinner.

This hotel is actually in Le Grazia which is about 5 mins away from Porto Venerre that serves as the ferry gateway to Cinque Terre. The location in Le Grazia allows you to avoid the tourist huddle & bustle of Porto Venerre & Cinque Terre but yet close enough to access them with very small bus fare.

The restaurant at Hotel Della Baia is a Michelin rated Resturant and the food served there is first class.

We enjoyed our stayed so much we stayed another night.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

We will definitely go back here

A really nice family run hotel with an excellent restaurant, seafood to die for. A marina in front of the hotel with a bathing beach a 5 minue walk away. Rooms exceptionally clean and a great swimming pool.

For peace and quiet for couples strongly recommended - not to much local for teenagers and twentysomethings.

We loved it and will stay there again.

Room Tip: get a room at the front, not much to see at back of hotel

This small hotel has comfortable but smallish rooms. Very nice tile work and art in the public spaces. One stays here for the delightful location in a quiet town on a bay not far from the action in La Spezia, Portovenere, or Cinque Terre. The restaurant is very good, with particular attention to local fish preparations. We enjoyed the large pool, big enough to share with guests with children. Staff was very professional, a bit distant for my taste but no real complaints regarding their helpfulness and efficiency. Enjoyed waking to the sounds of seagulls every morning and walking about the village. Good WiFi connection, a plus.

A 4 star hotel in Porto Venere sounded ideal for a night away during our wedding celebrations in Italy. Whilst the hotel was reasonably equipped I wouldn't rate it as 4 stars. The reception was lovely, but overall the place was a little tired and in need of some TLC.

The staff were mostly pleasant and helpful and the pool was lovely and quiet so that was a bonus.

For location, whilst only a 10 minute drive from Porto Venere the hotel is actually in Le Grazie - some distance from the town - and a drive or cab ride from the bars and restaurants.
