We stayed here in June 2018. We had a wonderful time. It was a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. They helped us with whatever we needed...no problem. Very nice. The room was clean and well attended to. Don’t let the stairs to the hotel scare you. I actually only counted 109 stairs but I had prepared for much more. They have a lift so you don’t have to carry your luggage up the stairs. It was well worth the climb. Also, if you don’t like stairs Positano is probably not for you. It’s about a 20 min walk into main Positano. Not bad at all. Absolutely a dream vacation.

Words cannot describe the feelings of home we felt staying at this cliffside getaway. We only stayed one night as a family of four, despite making a last minute booking, we were met not as guests but as family, where every need and detail was meticulously considered by the staff to make our stay the best it could be. As hectic as Positano and the Amalfi Coast can be, the hotel creates an impression of having the whole of the area to yourself, where noise is at a minimum while still enjoying panoramic views of the area from the rooftop breakfast to the cliffside pool. Aldrich and Daniel, two of the kindest and most thoughtful hotel staff any of us have ever met in our travels, met us from the start making sure we never had to touch our luggage and that we felt at ease climbing the steep ascent to the hotel. Upon arriving at our room we were greeted by Christine and Anna who had gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome with treats and lovingly made refreshing drinks. The quality of everything in this hotel, from the pool, gardens, and the rooms are of the utmost quality and care and though we were only able to spend one night we wish we could have stayed the entire trip.

We had the most wonderful time at this hotel. Staying here was a highlight of our trip around Italy. Where do I start. This place is a haven tucked away on the side of a cliff. Its gardens are beautiful, lush and green and filled with scent. The views are post card incredible.
The service is 5 star. Aldrich, Anna and Christin went out of their way to make us feel so welcome. There were welcome drinks when we arrived and each afternoon while we sat by the pool we enjoyed their tasty homemade snacks. They organised transfers, tours and dinner reservations at some great restaurants and their breakfasts are to die for.
The room we had was lovely. It is smart, clean and spacious with an outdoor terrace and of course a beautiful view.
We also liked that the hotel is located just out of Positano which whilst beautiful is busy so for us it was nice to be away from the buzz. It is an easy 10-minute walk into the town.
We hope to come back to Italy and if we do we will be staying here again and we will also be recommending this hotel to anyone we know who is heading that way.

This boutique hotel is truly exceptional with great attention to detail, wonderful service, the friendliness of all of the staff was unlimited. We were a bit stressed from our drive from Naples (adjusting to driving in Italy and all that involves) when we arrived and it took us a while to find the hotel and to work out what to do with the car. We ended up parking at the first parking garage in town and one of the attendants kindly drove us to the hotel and then came back when we departed to return the car. Honestly, we were so happy to get rid of our car as a car is superfluous in Positano, we later learnt that the hotel would have organised parking for us. There really is no where to stop or park nearby so a bit tricky to navigate for first timers. But when the staff greeted us we instantly felt calmer and grateful for the natural beauty of the location and the sense of peace and tranquility it offered. We knew we had made the right decision to stay there. There are stairs involved reaching the hotel but I think that is part of the adventure and charm. The view is spectacular!! Anna came to meet us and provided us with some Prosecco and cake (just what we needed) and gave us loads of advice for dinner and immediately organised a reservation with shuttle bus. We spent the next day at Arienzo beach, Anna organised the reservations of our sun-bed and our lunch reservation at the beach club. What a perfect day! To be able to swim in the beautiful sea and admire the magnificent view - I don’t think I have ever been so relaxed. Exploring Positano is an easy 10 minute walk on the road. You can have some fun in the shops and streets of Positano which are full of tourists and then escape to the tranquility of I Giardini Dei Sensei. It really is the best of both worlds. I haven’t even mentioned the breakfast.....you sit on the patio with one of the world’s best views eating a scrumptious assortment of food. Such a magical way to start the day. The staff were so lovely and welcoming (thank you again Anna), the view amazing, the rooms were comfortable (a little basic but more than adequate). In summary, we loved our stay and if truly lucky we hope to return one day.

I Giardini dei Sensi is a spectacular resort with amazing panoramic views. When you arrive to your bungalow of paradise you are greeted by a wonderful attentive staff. Kristine, Aldridge, and Annarita are exceptional and accommodating. The resort is secluded and quiet. It feels like you have the whole place to yourself. It’s truly a paradise in the sky. Great staff, delicious breakfast, beautiful gardens, grow their own herbs, have spacious clean rooms with great WIFI. Super hosts!
