“Loved our stay”
Reviewed 9 July 2014 via mobile

I loved our stay at villa rosa. We had great room with a terrace and beautiful views. Sitting out on the terrace for breaky every morning was great, very very reasonably priced for the room and breaky. Will stay here again when we return to positano

Villa rosa is perfectly located...not too close and not too far on the main road....easy walk to the beaches, church and eating places....awesome views....added to the positano feeling!
Specially the girl at the desk called Linda....super helpful and very very cheerful!

When I booked this hotel I knew it would be great from all the reviews I read, but I didn't expect to be blown away...
First of all, the location is great, in the heart of Positano, not very far from the beach and shops. Our room, like I suppose all the others, was amazing, with a breathtaking view of the sea and not to mention the superb terrace where we had our breakfast every morning. Everything else about the room was excellent as well; the cleanliness , the elegant style, the comfort....
The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming, the girls at the front desk were lovely.
We enjoyed enormously our stay in Positano and especially at Villa Rosa, I'm really hoping to go back some day.

Go for the family apartment on the top floor. Room no 39. It has the best view! We just loved hanging out at the terrace. My children were so sad to leave.

The staff were great, very friendly, and always willing to help. Positano is so beautiful and staying at Villa Rosa is the best decision ever.

Drive to Positano was incredible and arriving at Villa Rosa, sublime. Linda and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and just the loveliest people. We had asked for a room on the top floor which is level 5, and that's exactly what we got. We walked into our room and were blown away by the magnificent view. There are only stairs to the top level, no elevator, so not for those who can't walk up stairs. We loved having breakfast on our own balcony every morning and loved every minute of our stay in this charming hotel. Positano is now one of my favorite places and you cannot go wrong with the fabulous Villa Rosa, which is perfectly positioned close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend

Room Tip: Try to get a room on level 5. The view is stunning and you will get very fit too 😊

The drive into Positano was breathtaking and this continued on arriving at Villa Rosa. The staff were seriously amazing, very pro-active doing anything they could to help us feel at home and enjoy our stay.

We were on the first level, unfortunately some view blocked by a roof but still amazing seeing the cliffs and ocean.

Hot breakfast very expensive, but we found the cereal, crossiants, bread with spreds, OJ, yoghurt and cappachino delivered to room and eaten on balcony was more than enough.

Location was perfect to get views and only 50 meters away from main part of town leading down to beach.

Most annoying thing was terrible internet. We had to sit outisde at midnight to get signal to book some activites and trains for later in our trip.

All in all a great stay, wish I was still there!

This is a lovely B&B. Rather expensive, but everything is in Positano. Prospective guests need to know there is no lift (could find no reference to this on the web site). The best views are from rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors (we were on the 4th), so if you're elderly and/or unfit opt for rooms on the lower levels. The view from our balcony was stunning and it was a wonderful place to enjoy the great continental breakfast that was included and delivered to our room each morning (there is no restaurant) or relax with a drink and watch the sunset. The bathroom was quite small and we had wifi problems, but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful (and fit, climbing all those stairs) and overall we were very happy and would stay again.
