As said by other reviews, the intimate hotel has amazing views, great service, and comes at a great discount to other options in Positano. As first time visitors, we couldn't have been more pleased with the choice. Room 36 was perfect for us with a king bed (sometimes a rarity in Europe) as well as an amazing terrace. Breakfast was a treat at the time we designated every morning. As others said, our bathroom was small--but for us just fine and functional. If important to you ask them for their rooms that have a larger bath. Location was perfectly central to an easy walk down to the beach and docks for boat rides around the coast as well as close to the bus stop.
Linda is a superstar! All of the hosts at the front desk were terrific but Linda went above and beyond with plans for dinner, sightseeing and drivers. She is enthusiastic, loves her town, and truly wants to know how your experience was so she can stay current and ensure you are having the trip of a lifetime. Her reservations made our views fantastic every night.
Highlights we'd recommend--full reviews separately:
--Boat to Amalfi and Sorrento
--Private Day Tours--very flexible to your itinerary (For us: Frantoio Gargiulo olive oil, Cantina del Vesuvio for wine tasting and lunch, and Ravello for a relaxing tour)
--Café Positano--Amazing terrace views and great food
--Chez Black--Saw Denzel Washington at lunch--one of his frequent spots at the beach
--Le Tre Sorelle--Great food and service also at the beach
--Il Ritrovo--Quaint small and atop the hills above Positano. Non tourist real small town.
--Buca di Bacco cooking class--great fun and actually great teaching--tips and tricks that work.
