WOW- Our expectations were completely overpassed. We went to Positano for our honeymoon and found out about C'era una Volta. The food was 5 STARS but even more impressing was the price. The high quality of food at a reasonable cost made us come back to the restaurant twice on our trip. With the service (including free pick-up), kindness of the staff, and amazing food-value. I would suggest eating here as much as possible. Giant pizza for 5 to 7 euros and fresh seafood for less than 20. The restaurant is closed on Tuesday so we tried another restaurant in Positano and paid MUCH more for a low quality meal. What a GEM! Thanks for the memories and delicious food!

Went to C'era una Volta on the recommendation of someone I met in town with my family. The food was delicious, comforting and wonderful. The staff was beyond welcoming, and when they make a recommendation- trust them! The house wine was delicious (which was a first on this trip). Everyone was thrilled with their food, and it was the perfect place for a family dinner. Big surprise at the end- very reasonably priced!

A little out of the way of Positano but well worth the walk / transfer for great food and very reasonable prices.

Service is fantastic with a genuinely friendly welcome. Please please please eat the homemade gnocchi with clams. I am dreaming about that dish!! It was a dream!! We paid 50 euro for a starter between us, main and dessert each, and a bottle of procescco. Amazing value in an overpriced town.

It was recommended by our hotel as a good value for money option. The staff was friendly and the food was fresh and tasty. Hint: the place is located a little off the centre, so it is a great option to avoid stairs if you are not staying in the hart of Positano.

Food is terrific, so are the prices.
I had the best Gnocchi ever, and the other pasta dish was very good.
Nice house wine for a fair price.
Stuff was very friendly, and we felt at home.
Very much recommended!
