This was a great room. It was HUGE!!! and had an amazing view of the beautiful landscape. It is up above the main town of Positano. We did venture on the stair walk up and down once. What was great about Villa Gabrisa, is that it is near the bus stop down the the village as well as the bus stop that took us to Amalfi for the day.
It is also right above a little street that had some great restaurants which we ate at a few times.

The hospitality was great and their breakfast and coffee was exactly what we were looking for.
We definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Definitely pay for a room with a balcony. The view is unbelievable!

Spent one week at this glorious hotel with my 14 year old granddaughter. Cannot say enough about the entire experience. The views, the food, the staff, were all wonderful. Loved the half hour walk each morning to the beach!!! In the afternoon, after spending a fabulous day at the beach, we took the bus back to Villa Gabrisa. The bus stopped at the Villa. We felt like locals!!! Hope to take the entire family next year.

Just got back yesterday from 2 weeks at this beautiful hotel. Thank you all for a wonderful time. Lovely clean rooms, fabulous food and a view to take your breath away. Nothing was too much trouble and every member of staff was friendly and as helpful as possible. Hope to bring more of the family next time x

Room Tip: We stayed in room 5, which I would definitely choose again. The terrace was huge and the flowers made it more like a garden.

We can't say enough good things about this boutique hotel!

We didn't worry about a taxi and hopped on the bus from the town square which is actually a little triangle after a small walk from the port. The bus driver was great if you tell him the hotel he'll stop at the closest stop and let you know.

The views from the massive balcony were breathtaking, the room was comfortable and spacious with L'Occitane toiletry products.

It's a family run business and everyone speaks excellent English and always took the time to help with any questions for suggestions of things to do.

We were not sure whether to stay in Sorrento or Positano and after a day trip to Sorrento we were so happy we decided on Positano as the feeling was much more relaxed and picturesque, there was still an excellent selection of restaurants to choose from.

Room Tip: We had the room with the larger balcony which was definitely worth it.

This family run hotel was great! I have never stayed at a hotel with such a great view of the ocean. The room was clean, TV is hooked up via SKY, Wireless works great and we had our own little balcony! My wife was impressed with the selection of Loccitane products they provided in the bathroom. Breakfast was included and you have the option of sitting inside or outside which has an amazing view!!! Having read previous reviews that the hotel restaurant was good we decided to try it... We ate there every night! As it was well priced and the food was excellent!!! Service was great as everyone was really friendly and helpful. In terms of walking into town its all down hill and takes about 15 minutes... If you want to go to the not so crowded main beach with much cheaper sun lounge and umbrella hire, it will take you about a 10 minute walk. Plus we found the food much cheaper and offered a tasty meal!

This was a great hotel! A tip if you are catching a bus to Positano get off at CHIESA NUOVA also known as BAR INTERNAZIONALE. You will then see a road across from Bar internazionale and walk down it, which will be a little windy and after 10 minutes you will see Hotel Villa on your right hand side.
