My family of four (2 adults, 2 young adults) stayed in the 3 bed apartment which provided us with ample space and lovely clean accommodation. The sea views from all three rooms was absolutely beautiful and the twinkling lights of Positano late at night was unforgettable. We enjoyed a lovely continental breakfast with plenty of options. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Reginella.

Room Tip: The 3 bed apartment is perfect for families, plenty of room with a good sized bathroom and shower. T...

Hotel Reginella is a lovely hotel in Positano. The room I had was a double and was very, very clean and comfortable. My daughter and I had a beautiful view of the town and the sea from our small balcony. Walking to and from the main part of town and beach area was quick and easy and a lovely walk no matter which way you went. There were some decent restaurants close to the hotel. Tony and the entire staff were incredibly polite and so very helpful. Tony can give you advice on just about everything, including the "best pizza" outside of town in a small town on the way to Pompeii.
On the very, very early morning we were leaving, (It was still dark)Tony was so hospitable--he made us cappucino before we left. Where else would you find a hotel owner so kind?
Our stay in Positano was delightful at the Hotel Reginella. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

We had to check out very early to make a connection in Salerno, but Tony made coffee and breakfast especially for us. He and his wife couldn't have been nicer to us. We loved everything about Reginella -- but were especially in love with out balcony and its breathtaking view (and where they have a little rack for hanging out swimsuits or laundry!) I also loved being able to grab a bottle of wine from their lobby bar to take up to the room in the afternoons at a super reasonable price. Be sure to ask them to make a reservation for you at Cafe Positano, just a few feet up the road -- you won't regret it!

Room Tip: Make sure to get a room with a balcony!!

We stayed for five nights in this lovely family run hotel. Our room was nice and clean and had a balcony with wonderful view of the cliffs and the water. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners of the hotel and all the staff were very helpful. Teresa, in the kitchen provided a lovely breakfast in the sunny breakfast room. Would recommend this hotel.

We were delighted to stay at Hotel Reginella. Please be aware that you must climb and steeply with cobblestone steps which are uneven to reach however unless you hire the porter service which will take your bags (8euros) and make the climb easier. Be aware you must climb with or without bags. Staff is friendly and helpful. Gave us good daily excursion tips and even arranged transportation to a higher cliffside restaurant called Once Upon a Time for dinner. Would recommend hotel again and would stay there again.

Room Tip: Obstructed view rooms were just fine--still saw the see and I am not sure a full view room would be...

We spent three nights at the Hotel Reginella in late April and would have liked to have stayed longer. The hotel is well located on a road (so you do not need to drag your bags up or down Positano's famous stairs) and right opposite some stairs to the main beach. Our room on the second floor was spacious and clean and the view from our balcony of the town and the sea was fabulous.

All the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the management on the front desk who advised on which trips to take and recommended restaurants even making our bookings and organising for us to be picked up.

Added bonuses were freshly made coffees at breakfast and free wifi.

The Reginella is definitely great value for money. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room.

We enjoyed this hotel. They get many of the small details right -- nice decor, good service, with everything very straightforward and as advertised. The views are tremendous; the beds are comfortable; the room quite sizeable by European standards, with high ceilings; and everything seems very clean. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the square by the winding street, or less than that if you take the fairly steep stairs. So it's right in the middle of the action. We recommend it.
