We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Punta Regina. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a fabulous sea view. The pool area on the roof top where breakfast was served each morning is a real treat. Thanks to Francesca and all the staff for such genuine hospitality, which made our holiday such a relaxing an memorable occasion.

My husband and I stayed here during part of our honeymoon & it was one of the best decisions we've made. The Punta Regina staff are so friendly and hospitable, and really go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Plus, the hotel is in a great location. It's close to lots of great restaurants and shopping, but set just enough away from the hustle and bustle that you don't feel overwhelmed by people, especially during high season (we went in August).
At one point during our trip, I got sick with some kind of bug, and the PR staff not only arranged for the local doctor to come right to my bedside, but they accompanied him and helped to bridge any language gaps.
Nice spread for breakfast -- eggs, bacon, pancakes, meats and cheeses, breads, pastries, fruit, fresh juices, specialty coffee and tea. You can even have it delivered to your room free of charge and eat there if you'd like. The pool is nice and relaxing with stunning views of the sea.
If you're looking to go out on a boat, Gianluigi, one of the hotel staff, has a gorgeous boat and will take you out for the day or evening. He was one of our personal favorites at the hotel - super friendly and knowledgable about Positano. If you're a boat person, don't pass that up!

We loved this hotel! The pool and breakfast staff were overly helpful with top notch service. View was beautiful from there too. Front desk staff friendly and very helpful too. Room was large with a balcony. Probably a 15-20 min walk from the beach if you take the road, but you get to walk by all the shops. (Beware if you take the stairs. It’s a lot of work). Plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. The only negative is I wish it was located a little less high up, but I would choose this location over a beach location which would be way too crowded for me.

Perfect stay in every way. Nice size room with high ceilings and large terrace with views of the sea. Great service from all the people working at the front desk. They helped us make dinner reservations for most nights of our stay. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was amazing with stunning views in every direction. Our daily dip in the pool after a hot day was a highlight for us.
I spent 3 nights at this hotel on my solo trip to Italy after spending 5 days in Capri. Right off the bat I noticed that the value I was getting for my money here far exceeded what I was getting in Capri.
The hotel is in a perfect spot. High enough on the hill so that you get a view and not too much of a walk to the town/beach. The first night I stayed in a standard room, but then upgraded to a room on the third floor because I wanted a view and balcony (I highly recommend this--no point in staying in Positano without a view!). The hotel is gorgeous, authentically decorated without losing quality. I loved both of the rooms I stayed in, I just think the amenities could use some slight updating (water pressure and finishes). With these improvements I would totally give this place 5 stars!
The staff here really went above and beyond to accommodate all of my requests and they are so absurdly nice, I absolutely loved everyone that worked here. They even asked if I wanted a banana or pre-made breakfast for my early check out transfer, it was so cute.
The roof area was my favorite part of the stay. Epic views and a chic infinity pool. The complementary breakfast on the roof was also delicious.
