Stayed here for 5 nights in peak season. Overall I would say the hotel is very good. The staff were extremely friendly (probably one of the best I have experienced), the room was clean + large (especially the bathroom) and the breakfast had a very good selection. However 2 negatives of the hotel are; firstly that the wifi does not work in the rooms, but only in the lobby and dining area and secondly that the acoustics are not the best if you want to sleep in past 8.30, the hallway is a tiled floor with high ceiling which means doors closing echo, as do footsteps. I would say thought that for us personally the positives outweigh the negatives

We stayed in Positano for 3 days in a standard room on the 4th floor with a partial view of the sea and of the coast. The breakfast is full of many options, the rooms are clean and staff were friendly. They booked us reservations at restaurants and shuttle services to pick us up. If you have a rental car, they recommend to Park at Mandara parking and offer a porter service for your baggage. However they never told us it cost 20 euros for a two minute trip. I would also not recommend room 410 because there were several moments that the bathroom stunk of eggs and sewage. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.

If you want to stay in the City Centre of Positano this family run Hotel is perfect. It has a pleasant common out door terrace and lounge area where there is WIFI and you can be served drinks and snacks.
The breakfast is average although they have really yummy cakes that are made fresh daily.
The rooms are simply beautiful very clean with lovely toiletries made with Olive Oil. Towels are plush and the bed is very comfortable.
The WIFI does not work in your room because I was on a business trip this was a little down fall for me although on vacation it is perfect!

Room Tip: I would recommend the third floor where you have a terrace although remember you are in the centre o...

We stayed at the Hotel Savoia for one night - wish we could have spent another night there but they were booked. The staff was fantastic - great suggestions for seeing the coast...took the ferry to Amalfi and then the bus to Ravello. Perfect day and beautiful boat ride. The room was excellent - very clean and well equipped. We loved the balcony and the view - sat out in the evening an had a glass of wine before going to dinner. The breakfast was outstanding and had delicous good well prepared! The location is perfect for seeing the sights and shops. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Savoia.

From the start the service was second to none, we got off the bus at the wrong stop, managed to call the hotel and speak with Amelia and within minutes there was a car there to pick us up. The complimentary breakfast on the balcony was a beautiful start to every morning.

The rooms were beautiful and clean and serviced daily.

The recommendations by Amelia were incredible and she really made our stay.

Highly recommend to stay at Hotel Savoia close to everything.

We stayed at Hotel Savoia for three night with our family (one double and one triple room). We were happy with the hotel. Service is friendly. Rooms were large (we had a junior suite which was enormous) and the hotel has a lounge that is open till 11pm where you can get your evening capucino (including decaf for older folk like us) for very reasonable price. Views of Positano were great although I think some of the other hotels higher up and on the north side seem to have even great views. Main draw backs of the hotel were: 1) no internet in the room - just in common areas; 2) it's right above the street and the street is quite noisy. If you keep the windows closed, it's not very noticable but if you open them, you'll hear cars and trucks coming and going all the time. This was particularly noticeable at bfast which is outside (which is very nice) but right above the road - not so peaceful. But, we would definitely come back here. Location is very good. We ate at Next2 which was very nice. Be warned: Positano in July is completely overrun with tourists - it's fun but not a peaceful and it takes a way a bit from the picturesque nature. We recommend doing the "walk of the god's" Nice 2 - 3 hr hike, very pretty - do it in forward direction, starting in Bomerano (70 - 100 euro by taxi from Positano). Signage is much better in this direction. Have lunch at Santa Croce after you walk - very nice food.

Great location to all the restaurants and shops! Very nice clean and spacious room (we had the family room for 4). Wifi was not available in rooms, only on first and ground floor (common rooms) which was a little in convenient but the reception at those places was really good. Break was nice, great views from our room and the bar balcony is a wonderful place to sit and eat breakfast or have a drink. I'd definitely stay here again mainly for its proximity to everything you need, even close to the bus stop.
