An attractive hotel with generously proportioned bedroom, super comfortable beds, and a balcony with great views. Away from hulaballoo of the town yet shops and restaurants very easily accessed. Breakfast offers great selection- (maria remembers everything, taking no notes of your order) - yet all arrives; cereal, fruit juice, fresh fruit, yogurts, croissants, bread rolls, coffee and tea. The hard working team just look after their guests so well. They were very kind after checking out, allowing us to leave luggage all day and use facilities to freshen up before our early evening departure for Naples airport. Look no further than this hotel which offers all this plus great value for money.

This hotel was our choice for our main holiday. The hotel is well maintained and the decor is really outstanding. The rooms all have a balcony - I gather the size determined by the level of luxury of the room. The views were fantastic straight over Positano to the sea each morning The beds were really comfortable. The room facilities were good and it was kept spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. The hotel is a family run hotel and nothing seems to be too much trouble such as assistance and advice about ferries to Capri and Amalfi and buses to Sorrento. The breakfast was served to your table with a wide choice of food. This hotel is a gem and well worth a visit -Throughly recommended.

My wife, daughter and I stayed here in August 2011. It was absolutely wonderful. The hotel was recommended to us by our friend, Christine, who lives locally. The room was beautiful. It had 2 bedrooms, a separate lounge and a balcony with breathtaking views of the town and ocean. The room was huge and this made it perfect given that we were travelling with our 2 year old daughter.

It was so relaxing to unwind with a beer/wine on the balcony after a hard day at the beach! The breakfast was lovely and certainly didn't let you go hungry. Ask the friendly staff to make you a 'cafe creme' - you will not be disappointed!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.

We'll definitely be back!

We spent a fabulous seven days in this wonderful hotel. The room was huge and the balcony had unbelievable views. The hotel is really central, with shops on its doorstep, and an 8 minute walk to the beach. As Italian standards go, the breakfasts were excellent. Michelangelo, Maria and the staff were absolute stars, and their outing and restaurant recommendations were spot on.

Room Tip: Try to book a room with a balcony

Just had a fab week staying here!. This immaculate, family run hotel is in one of the prime positions in Positano. It is traditionally furnished with Italian elegance and has views from the rooms that are breathtaking. The friendly staff can't do enough for you .. and the walk back from the beach or down to the shops and restaurants is not too far. I really shopped around when looking for somewhere to stay in Positano.. and now having stayed there .. believe that this great little hotel is excellent value for money. Wouldn't stay anyway else ... next year!!

Room Tip: Ask for sea view.

We decided to end our honeymoon tour of Italy with a relaxing stay in Positano with the Royal Prisco hotel and it was the best decision we ever made. First of all Positano is a beautiful place to see and to stay in. Combine that with the excellent and cheerful service from Maria and Michelangelo at the Royal Prisco Hotel and it was for sure an amazing visit.

From the first day you check in, to the last minute of you walking out of the door the staff is always helpful, and eager to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were so nice and neatly kept. They have several with a balcony that over look Positano and the sea which makes for a spectacular view. We would definitely recommend requesting one of these rooms if you choose to stay here.

The hotel is very close to restaurants, services (such as vespa rentals, excursion details and taxi stands) and only about 5-10 minute walk (downhill) to the beach. Whenever we needed additional information Maria and Michelangelo were excellent resources.

We loved our visit to Positano and staying at the Royal Prisco made it even better.
Thanks for everything Maria and Michelangelo! I sposi hope to see you again soon!!
